Good luck `Young Boys` you were terrific in the first half.Play like that and you have a real good chance of going through.Gareth Bale,the only one to watch.
spurs should beat them at home just fine and move on but they didn't have to do it in such a stressful manor !

If the game in white heart lane is similar to this than you have to say that Young Boys have every right to go through to the next stage. No one gave them a prayer and yet they still managed to dominate for a large part of the match. Can't wait till second game.
It won't be the same, on grass and at White Hart Lane will be a very different story IMO.

Dawson was terrible he was beaten to the ball and out-run every time he didnt play like he wanted to be there, thank god for pavlyuchenko he is a natural scorer and spurs shud kick out keane and play him more
yeh agree dawson looked so unfit spur's defense looked terrible with asou kotou how ever you spell it he had to get subed as he was getting beaten so much!
The back-line was caught out because our midfield didn't get their act together in the opening minutes. Dawson, like so many CBs, isn't fast but the problems should be dealt with before getting in situations like that with a fast striker. Assou-Ekotto also had them coming at him from all directions. As he got a yellow that early on it was natural to take him off. Taking Palacios off, even if he didn't play well, was not going to be the solution. The only other option would have been to take off Giovani. Who the hell would have believed we would be three down after 28 minutes? The first goal was off-side, the second we lost possession and let Dawson being caught out by their fast striker, the third came after a bad mistake by Bassong. Credit to the team for fighting back and getting two great goals from Bassong and Pavlyuchenko!

It wouldn't be easy to explain this to a Swede..who on top of it is a gooner - but to limit it to just a few words: when we give the opposition that much space in midfield it's going to be tough for the defence.
pavluychenko if he keeps playing like that he could score lots of goals in the premier elague, tottenham's biggest mistake was playing palacios for huddelstone and dawson for king
i saw the game fully, and tottenham were not lucky because they also had lots of chances, young boys were very good in first half but not in second half, tottenham deserve it for a good comeback, young boys were very impressive in the beginning, but without support they wont do it in the next match.
