They're both the youngest sides in the tournament, both with fenomenal youth systems. It was a promising and positive performance from the youngsters and a great match improved further by the epic atmosphere generated by the Ajax supporters as always.

Shame there weren't any goals, both had lots of good chances but hopefully that means an even more entertaining 2nd leg.

Gotta say this match gave me faith. Love the fact we back to our OWN style etc. Were improving weekly for like a half year now... But still inconstant. I was scared what would happen to a real top team. With the names... the money... etc. LOVED it when I saw we didnt change our lineup. Lyon adjusted to us. Despite them having the "better" team. Way it shud be:) We dominated the match. Was a gd match, despite no goals. Draw is deserved tho. We might have dominated but we made errors in defence.. Cough van der wiel cough(3x? 4x?). And there counters were sharp and fast, just not deadly.
Whoever said sulejmani was best players, thank eriksen for that. Sulejmani been reaching his potential EVER since eriksen plays. Eriksen is gonna be a legend. Best ajax player by a mile at age of 19. Mark my words.. GG lyon. Bring it real c***s

both teams had chances but Ajax definitely should have won this match. but im glad with 1 point and lets see what happens away. hopefully we'll do the same as we did vs Milan previous year.
