I hear chelsea fans saying that torres is back and that chelsea are back. Well if manchester united won the title with Rooney in bad form and a lot of players loaned to other teams than I think that this year manchester united will destroy. After all look at rooneys performance this preseason. Much better than torres thats for sure. All hes done is scored a tap in off a failed shot from Malouda!

Wayne Rooney's pre-season form has been amazing. I hope he carries it into the thick of the season. At this rate, he would easily be the Premier League's player of the season.... if not the FIFA WPOTY.
