I was at this game. Complete Rubbish. The only thing more disappointing than Beckham's absence was my false belief that any of these guys could play footy. It was the Blanco vs. Donovan show, and the American won. Appropriate retaliation I suppose considering he got swine flu down in Mexico

Galaxy took advantage of a struggling, infighting Fire side and picked up the win. Nice to see Magee get a goal in front of his family in his hometown, and Landon Donovan continuing to make mincemeat of defenses in MLS.

They've already got more points with a third of the season left than they had in either of the past 2 seasons. I love it.
