even tho i am glad torres finally broke his duck and scored, i can't say this is a goal of the week by any means..i mean, he looks clumsy receiving the ball, switching it to the other foot and then shooting...just looks kind of funny/clumsy especially in comparison to Messi's goal against rm which was pure beauty and class, but hey...Messi didnt cost them 50 million euros. He cost Barcelona what...1000 bucks for the ticket from Argentina?

I feel Torres' case can be compared to that of Benzema. He too was bought for a heavy price tag (30m i think). In his early days he too was goal-shy, wobbly and nervous that he was being assessed by many people. He even lost his first team place but fortunately for him (and unfortunately for Real) he was the only striker left in the team during Higuain's injury so Jose was compelled to play him. And slowly he started proving his wrong got back his goal scoring form and he has transformed into the Benzema we knew when he was at Lyon. I hope the same happens wid Torres as he has the talent to be a class striker and prove himself worthy of his price tag.

I really don't see the incredible amount of skill in this goal, in my opinion there was a lot of luck. Based on how his confidence has been in front of goal lately, if he had not hit that wet patch in the box, I think his finish would not have been as smooth. But I guess he took advantage of the circumstances, no where near the goal of the week category for me though
