This season is totaly different. AVB is great coach and we made a lot of good signings. It took some time to put all the things together and now i think that chelsea is strong enough to win the champions league. Go Chelsea, I know we can do it!!!

Man of the match Juan Mata !!!

and drogba and cech! :D
To all who think that Valencia deserved a point at the bridge, answer to them we deserved all 3 at Mastalla but for Lopez so Shut up and just enjoy Europa league (MU and MC)
Drogba what a player!! good for Chelsea best of lucks!
i believe valencia were far from rubbish just from watching the highlights. they created a number of chances and were very unlucky not to get at the very least 1 past cech, who made some outstanding saves.
I cant wait for fixtures in the round of 16. I wonder who Chelsea would be chelsea's next opponent. Hats off to Drogba who proves he is the top striker at Chelsea. AVB cant afford to lose him in January.

LOL...i saw this and was like, I dont remember posting this
Im gonna get attacked for this by all the English fans but I could care less. I honestly think Valencia outplayed Chelsea and that the result should have been very different. Of course though Drogba and the former Valencia star Mata helped defeat his own team. Drogba really is unbelievable though he can score create a chance and score from absolutely nothing.
lol .. no ur not gonna get attacked.. we all understand ur a barca fan and you only see wat u want to see :) ...

the plan was to defend and let Valencia keep the ball....we just did more with it when we got it 30% of the time....Barca loses match with 80% of the ball doing what?????

They played with counter attack so obviously valencia would have more possession, game was for chelsea they showed their class valencia didn't. Valencia didn't play their 100% and that's why they deserved to lose this game.

Wow am I really reading this!? Valencia the better team? That is ridiculous...

Have you ever heard of a gameplan? Valencia HAD to win and consequently had more possession as they were looking to go forward. That suited Chelsea nicely as they were happy to play on the counter with the strength and pace they have up front. That is what football's about - playing to your strengths.

For example, Barca don't play the long ball because they haven't got any players above the height of 4" 2. Use your brain...

AVB's post match conference was hilarious. Especially his reference to Gary Neville. It surely must have been a difficult day for the press reporting Chelsea's win.

Drogba never misses twice!

Looks like AVB is staying. I hope they give him time to implement his style of play and strategies that were successful in Porto. Drogba! What more can you say? Always a boss.

Mata is so important to Chelsea.

Drogba never lost form but torres did and remember what Drogba said he ll play until he is 35 :D I feel happy to see him playing and helping the team
but Drogba also said he wont be extending his contract
Drogba had malaria last season... was reduced to the bench when Torres came in. this season had a nasty head injury & was out for a while. came back & had to miss 3matches due to the QPR red card, and had surgery shortly after. So he hasnt really been playing. I just wonder how things would've been if he had a consistent run all these months... This performance was so good, and as a Chelsea fan, I am really looking forward to the rest of the CL and EPl season.

I prefer the Old Chelsea rather than this new one. We will see if I was wrong but I was scared of the old one :p
New beats the old

A mix of old and new will make the consistent Chelsea winning team. Terry and Drogba are still really solid, & I think Torres will eventually find his winning touch soon. Sturridge & Mata.. wow!
who said chelsea needed torres..............
look at drogba (one of my fav).... They should give him more games to start and they chelsea will see the changes.
overall nice game

yes they do...Torres still has it...jus need game time...just like Drogba needed
