torres can do everything but score, eh? glad we didn't sign him. seems to be cursing the whole team. the lad is 27 now. will he fizzle out as a 50million pound has-been?

btw what the fehk is up with ferdinand yanking torres up off the ground after what you could call a penalty tackle from vidic. shoulda got a yellow for that. and a penalty.
What are you talking about? Vidic didn't even touch him! Ferdinand was probably just tired of a torres diving since he knows he can't actually get a goal.

Close game...chelsea should have had a penalty but such is football. Great team goal by Utd, sublime pass by Carrick, excellent technique by Giggs to take it into his strike and pick out a composed Rooney. Torres was awful, i was so relieved when chelsea took off their best player and biggest threat, Drogba. Shocking substitution. I predict 2-1 utd at old trafford
God, how tight was that offside call on the disallowed goal? For all the complains about the ungiven PK, United could very easily have won by 2, had that pass been played just a fraction of a second sooner, or the linesman misjudged it.
Thx alot you blues. You completely ruined my combi-bet.

bye bye 18.056,83€

to all who bring up Drogba's offside goal last season when we beat Man U, you should not also forget that the goal you managed to score was the result of Macheada handling the ball.

I'm gonna be honest and say after watching this match Chelsea did not deserve to win, coming from a chelsea fan, although I think a draw would have been a fair result.

The penalty decision in the end was one of the most clear penalties I have seen in my life. I can't believe the linesman or the official standing behind the goal as well as the referee could miss such a blatant call. Some how when it comes to the champions league, it seems that chelsea never get good officials who can make good calls.

The problem with our defense is clearly bosingwa just not having enough ability to track his man and with Ramieres supposed to be playing the right side but constantly finding himself in the middle of the park, it creates a real problem for chelsea along that whole right side defensively. I still believe we can turn this around but Ancelotti is gonna actually have to do his job and put the right players on the field in the right positions.
things wont get through your way all times.. i cant forget the whinings frm Utd fans wen we were robbed by chelc last month..dis time its our turn
I don't understand how you were robbed. 2-1 was a fair result. There is no disputing David Luiz's goal and the penalty may have been soft but a penalty is a penalty. That is what chelsea needed in this game, a referee that is not scared of Sir Alex Fergueson and we did not get it.
Whenever it comes down to luck, Man Utd always get the benefit. I can't stand them.
duh! you're not supposed to stand us you scumpool boy lover! that's why at the end of this season, we shall no longer sit on the same throne. bow to United you loserpoolian

Rooneyyyyyyyyyy
only like him 4 england

everybody goin on about the penalty that never was!!!
funny how chelsea always seem to have late in the game penalty claims especially when they aren't winning!

Chelsea now have that spanish/italian cheat to win at all costs attitude.
Falling over is about all ramires can muster anyway.
Chelsea cheated and it didn't go their way.

You could do well to have a second look at the challenge.

And its okay to accept if there was a genuine penalty claim. hiding you head in the sand wouldn't change the facts , would it?

my initial reaction was that its penalty and i havent changed my mind however i have heard a few people argue that it wasnt a penalty because of this

Giggs is so f*****g good! He plays like hes 20!! he deserves so much more praise than he is given, hes all over the field his touches are beautifuuuul! hes got the vision and experience you would expect from a seasoned professional.

PS rooneys goal.... not top 5 material
