On balance a draw would have been fairer but Chelsea showed their fighting spirit and didn't give up. No surrender!

common guys i have seen the game live, shaktar was better team in the first half, they exposed left wing by capitalising bertnand inexpereince but they are not clinical in final passing. chelsea lucky to got first goal. second half chelsea was better team, it shluld have been even at the end but torres goal made the difference. chelsea second goal may be or may not be GK faultif he didnt pushed away ball from matas cross torres would have scored one on one, instead he took risk and pushed ball where oscar had so much to do to score that goal, i think GK made right choice here. that was not lucky oscar had to do lot to put that back in the net and he did it.

i realised something. Mikel's position in both goals were totally wrong. for the first goal, he went too deep almost parallel to the 2 CBs, leaving huge space for willian to shot. for second goal, he wasnt quick enough to get back and shield the 2 CBs. that territory belongs to a DMC, and clearly he wasnt up to that yet. if Makelele was the one playing, i dont think shakhtar would have scored the 2 goals.
