if a team starts good it doesn't mean they will be good every game in this case tottenham they start wonderfull but against big names it just comes a bit short.
The hotsuprs are not so hot anymore.

chelsea fans you have to be careful not to get over your heads. I agree with you guys that you will take the premiereship but this is dependant on other teams' demise. Don't sit there and make predictions like oh Chelsea will win 3-1 rather say they are going to win. When you put numbers up there you are dissapointed if the outcome does not fall in your favour. Nonetheless this game was amazing in terms of skill (Drogbas goal was a beautiful burst of speed accompanied with a great finish) but having him carried off the field worries me. I think it would have been different had the two center backs for Tottenham went down with injury as well but having said that the game was dictated from the 1st shot where it smoked the post and came off like a rocket. This introduced fear and due to fitness Ashley Cole made a incredible diving header. After that the rest was history
I can't speak for all of our fans but I am not trying to predict the future by saying Chelsea will win everything and that nobody can stop us. There will be wins and there will be losses. So far so good for Chelsea. We are looking stronger than we've been in a long time. As for Drogba he is our best asset in the striker department and has a history of ups and downs. This season he's been given the full confidence of Ancelotti which makes a huge difference in his performance on the pitch. If Drogba can stay healthy Chelsea will contend for alot of Hardware this year. Not to say he makes or breaks the team but his presence on the pitch does give Chelsea more firepower than any other striker in Chelsea's line-up.
No doubt Drogba has been simply amazing not only this season but for the past couple of years. He by far has to be the best signing for Chelsea in the past couple of years. Ancelotti has done an amazing job with him and Anelka and I think they probably could develop to be the strongest striking partners in the league. As a United fan, i have to say we will win everything(you have to have the pride of your club hehe) but if we dont, Chelsea will be the team sticking on our back
