Im actually excited by the new looking chelsea, plus its only the first year they are together! Oscar will turn into quality, he tries the quick, defensive cutting pass that i absolutely love to see.

No need to talk about Hazardm he is pure gangster what 4 assists in 2 games, plus he is not selfish... Getting his jersey today for sure!

Lampard is really getting me pissed FGS we have enough creative midfielders who can do the damage or even help Sturridge and FT9 to bang in the goals so why the hell does he often move forward leaving Mikel alone to cover the defense. If he wants goals Hazard will get more for him through PENS so no need to be bumping forward every now and then.

Terry on the other hand is becoming sluggish for my liking

its not lampards fault mikel cant do the one job that is asked of him. mikel should not be anywhere near the chelsea lineup

Yeah i just can't get why Mikel is always getting the nod over Essien and Romeu that is why Lamps should stay and help knowing Mikel is useless

honestly speaking, mikel cannot do the job alone. you cannot expect him to do that without a partner. that's the point of having a double pivot. lampard is too obsessed with becoming the top scorer of the club, so much so he pushes forward alot and keep wanting the ball. this really congests the final third. mata plays as an attacking midfielder yet he drops deep more often than lampard to cover his role. he needs to accept his new role in the team in my opinion. if he does not, the team will definitely be imbalanced.

Reading fought hard, a loss is very harsh. An entertaining game to watch though, both sides putting on a nice show.

I gotta admit Chelsea probably has the best defenders who score goals apart from ashley cole he dont score many but what a goal from cahill and ivanovic cant stop scoring for club or country.

Hazards quality, Sturridge is quality too but needs to pass a bit more but he did deffinetely change the game when he came on. Lampard brilliant as usual and cech just needs to wake up a bit lol. Chelsea i reckon will win the PL this year not just based on these 2 games but they got such good depth in there squad.

The attitude of newly promoted sides for the last few seasons has been brilliant. Swansea and Norwich were great last season while Reading and Southampton have come so close in upsetting the odds this year. Very unlucky for Reading to concede that offside goal. Hazard has been brilliant so far. His pace and trickery is winning Chelsea lots of free kicks and penalties. But like the Community Shield showed, they lack the power and class in the middle of midfield behind these flair players. They will score lots of goals but I see them concede a fair bit as well.
