QPR is like where all the has-beens go.
rubbish performance, thats what we get for underestimating QPR. deserved to lose. well done to them for the result!
julio cesar is to good of a keeper to be in QPR. Just saying
this would have been gamblers delight if you were betting man. and who else to score other than ex chelsea player shaun wright phillips... thats a double whammy in romans face
I was there and I wanted to see a replay of Chelsea's early penalty shout. Lampard being called offside was also exceptionally close. Just one of those days where we're clearly the better side and every statistic says so except the one that matters the most. Too many poor passes and not enough ingenuity.
I'd say both sides were poor all around.

26 shots and 14 corners for Chelsea... I was seeing flashbacks of the wasteful Barcelona we saw in that 2nd leg Champions League semi final, but STILL Barca put 2 in the net then. Still though credit to Julio Cesar for a great game.

Definitely credit to QPR for finishing that chance (and the irony of it being Sean Wright-Phillip), but I don't think either team deserved to walk away with 3 points from this.

Chelsea isnt going anywhere with 2 shots on target
as a chelsea fan i voted rubbish. it was a very poor effort by chelsea.

Happy new year
HARRY!!
Very very disappointing match for Chelsea. Was hoping and expecting a nice big home win vs QPR who are the worst in the league even with some decent players. I mean ya it was too bad Rafa didn't start Hazard or Mata. But they need some rest and I still expected Chelsea to play well and win. They played poor passing, boring, poor corners and overall poor and disappointing. Wish some of Ivanovic headers would just went in or the torres chance but just didn't work out and QPR beat us with a nice goal from phillips. Good for the QPR players and fans to celebrate but so terrible for us. Im hoping for some big goals and games in future soon and signing BA will be great!
What a weird feeling... :S after wishing every game that QPR win since Redknapp is the gaffer.. They needed to win against us! Duh! oh well, fair play, well done! ;)

great game, love the result.
Bottom line....Mata has to play every game. Why give him a rest? Messi doesn't need it
does mata guarantee victory? but is a plus if he played, rotation is not the problem...we had chances to win the game but unlucky to get goals and that is the beauty of the game....chelsea vs barca messi played and even lost a penalty and barca did everything right but no goal.
dont compare mata and messi, thats just stupid. the best player in the world vs. a spanish player that can even get into his national starting 11

Honestly what's just stupid is you not making effort to get what he meant even though its obvious...
Of course Messi is far beyond Mata, but dont also compare Chelsea last year to this QPR... it was just a image saying after 26 shots against 7, sometimes "Luck" is missing. Even for a better side!

slasic, you couldn't be more ignorant. mata has like 20 apps and 6 goals (all in big competitions) for spain. he came on as a sub and scored immediately euro 2012 final. he's a world class player, he just doesn't have the fame and notoriety as messi, ronaldo, etc. besides, how is he to break into starting 11 into a midfield that plays and trains all year round?
