People thought Anelka & Drogba were incompatible, but time after time they prove their critics wrong, imo, the best striking pair in the world
Having seen Drogba sit out the champions league games due to his 3 games suspension it was interesting to see that other strikers were able to step in and do well. I totally agree with you that Drogba and Anelka are top knotch but I think Chelsea's midfield are the unseen heroes. So many good players to choose from. Essien, Lampard, Ballack, Deco, Cole, Zirkhov, Malouda, and we haven't even seen much of Obi Mikel this year. Amazing when you think about it. A player as good as Obi Mikel not even really getting a chance to play, that speaks volumes of our midfield in itself.

Drogba's power is insane, don't think there's a center-back in the world who can match his strength. And Anelka certainly seems to have a chance against ussain bolt when it comes to speed.

the only dissappointment is that joe cole didn't score that first goal, otherwise though, another amazing performance from chelsea.
