Great result, Great team!
Tops to Spartak too, came to Paradise and had a proper crack at us despite playing for nothing. More than can be said for Barca last night. Oh we were lucky. Still deserved to qualify though!

I thought that the penalty was pretty soft but I absolutely love the reaction of Celtic's coaching team to the penalty goal scored.

Celtic deserved the win and now they're heading into 1/8 finals with heads held high.

More shots than opponent (11), hitting the post and scoring 2 goals whilst having 20% less possession is not parking the bus - it's called being effective when you have the ball. I agree the penalty was soft but we've had countless bad calls against us where it has cost us qualification, namely versus Juve in Turin, Man U, Lyon and more. About time we had some luck. We also had to finish with 10 men when the Spartak man crocked Commons and we had no subs left to replace him. All in all, a great result.

If you bet the defender and he steps on your foot stopping you from going past him its a penalty, clear cut

Sorry! this was not the case here. He didn't stepped on the foot. No clipping of heel either just a slight, very slight contact on the thigh and Samaras was down.
Watch the replays again.
