Watching: Follow me at - twitter.com A true Gooner, Carl Jenkinson joined from former League one outfit Charlton last summer to play for the club he's supported ever since birth but found himself out of his depth, understandably. Despite Carl's loyalty and love for the club and his brilliant attitude to never give anything less than 100% on the pitch, some of the fans turned on him. Carl showed promise but it wasn't until this season that he came into his own and is now fighting for a spot in the England squad. I've personally always been a big fan of Carl and find it difficult to understand the abuse and criticism he's got from fans whose dreams he's essentially living out. Nevertheless this season he's hit back at the critics with nothing but supremely solid performances week in, week out.
