Alonso was our creativity in mid field, we sold him and lost that. Rafa was hoping Aquilani would replace him, but he has been injured and Benayoun has really filled that position.

torres isnt a reliable goalscorer? when hes on his game hes one of the best in the world, who would realistically transfer to liverpool next season who has more quality than torres?? what about skrtel and agger, arent they 2 good young talents for the central defender spots with carragher in the mix... i think liverpool just needs a new coach who can inspire the players to play football, and make it look easy again

Well i believe we do need a handful of players. Specially midfield and a quality striker to step in for Torres if he is out injured. We need a quality CAM to share the load with Gerrard. And one all round midfielder at least. Or may be One CDM to replace LUCAS and Once winger as riera is now gone for good. To much reliance of one set of player is also responsible for too many injuries, we need more depth in the squad....and some youngsters like pacheco, nemeth, mavinga and ayala need to be groomed and given minutes of first team like Benitez has been giving Aqua....

UGE1904, I do agree that Torres is a reliable goalscorer, but other than Torres, which striker do you think is a reliable goalscorer?? Ngog has the potential, but he always flop. I do really think that Torres needs support up front. You mention Skrtel and Agger for central defense. I admit that Agger is good, but Skrtel has dipped in form recently. I am not saying that Skrtel is not good, but he is not reliable currently. I think that Kyrgiakos, a cheap centre back, is really a great buy as he is consistent. I don't think that Liverpool needs a change in manager. Benitez is a great tactician, it is the creativity that kills us off this season. So ya, here are my reply to you
