+1
ive had high hopes for donetsk,i love this little team hats off to dortmund they are brilliant
Hope borussia win the cl they bar far play the best football n dont overpay players and have a healthy squad. All the best
+2
Would love to see Dortmund in the final
+2
haha, pause the clip at 10:25 ;-)
I did and nothing was there to see :|
probably a different video clip is in place already.
+1
i pray hard RM wont face this current dortmund team.. anyway shakhtar were not as strong as before , after wilian left.
+4
weidenfeller is seriously in great form nowadays. dortmund is now making a wonderful habit of players being able to step up in their performances in the absence of injured or departed stars. santana for hummels, reus for kagawa, gotze for sahin/barrios and etc.

hopefully dortmund will find an able and adequate replacement when lewandowski leaves. a pity that his departure seems imminent seeing that his playing style fits and suits dortmund so much.
+4
gündogan is sahins replacement and not götze
+1
Gündogan is an awesome player imo he very underrated he is like a hybrid of Xavi and Alonso lol
+1
agree with u guys that gündogan is underated, but somehow i have always seen him as a versatile squad player who have play and been part of dortmund's set-up for years. i know he joined dortmund 1 or 2 seasons ago but doesnt feel that way haha.
+1
Gundogan doesn't look German at all. Still a classy player though
So what do you have to look like to be allowed to call yourself German in your opinion? OMG.
+1
Well, he was born to Turkish parents so...
@MementoMori: Did you know Pepe was born in Brasil but is Portuguise? It's not clever to judge everything by it's looks!
+1
Heritage isn't the only factor to determine your nationality!
You guys are a bit uptight aren't you? lol I didn't mean it in the wrong way.
Great game from both teams. I really like Dortmund's style and the freshness they bring to champions league. I wouldn't be surprised watching them playing the final or even winning it. Congrats!

Oh and I don't think Shaktar played "Rubbish" they played pretty good and had many options but just couldn't break Dortmunds defense/golie.
+4
Totally agree! "Rubbish" is to hard here.
Yes, it was a great performance
Yes, Shakhtar was the weakest oponent next to Celtic.
Yes, German teams can meet in the quaters.
Weakest oponent? I'd disagree.
+8
Weakest opponent?
Shakhthar were definitely not as good as before having Willan leaving and the whole Ukranian League taking a break, but they were still one of the hardest opponents remaining.
+1
hardest opponent? I have never seen them reaching the quaters, so they were unexperienced as well. There are bigger mountains to climb in this competition ;)
like bate borisov?
+4
no where near the weakest opponent. Shaktar have a very very strong team, dont be suprised if they start competing seriously for the champions league title. They have alot of money and are very well coached and run
+4
@ GloryRedDays: Your remark disqualified you for lack of knowledge.
Do you know how much Shaktar invested into their squad? Do you remember any of their results in the first round? Do you have any idea what other teams are still in the competiton? And last but not least, are you arrogant or simply ignorant?
+2
Arsenal, Schalke, Celtic, Galatasaray, Malaga are weaker.
+4
...and maybe Valencia
+3
definitely Valencia, Schalke probably not.
+2
Borussia was better but Šahtjor deserved at least a goal
+1
who will stop mighty dortmunt, barca r u hearing me..If it is not barca,it must be borussia.
+1
bayern munich.
+8
Bayern. We stopped them already twice this season (German Supercup: Bayern-BVB 2:1, German cup: Bayern-BVB 1:0, League: Bayern-BVB 1:1)
@Loopy8 lol you're right. Seems like Munich is their weakness but you never know, in cl anything can happen..
+2
bayern always losing on big stages recently..That is a concern.
come on, not even the Bayern players count the super cup. You stopped us once, but if you think it's a merit to draw at home against us, we'll take it ;)
It was an official match and both teams played their A-team so we should count it, too. And the draw at home in the league was really unlucky for us. We should have scored at least 3 goals like in the cup but Weidenfeller was in beast mode these two games ;)
Dont pervert the facts :)
the supercup :D omg its the most unimportant match ever!
+2
I'd say the same, if I lost the match... probably...
+1
I don't agree that Bayern loses in big games. Maybe it happened recently but this year They are not like that "recently" some say.
And I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund :) I really missed the Dortmund of late 90s and early 2000 and specially 1997 :)
GloryRedDays: You are the most arrogant fan in this discussion board. Please go hide yourself until you turn 14 and are able to discuss reasonably. All your comments in this forum have been bullshit so far.

"Bayern is the best! Everyone else sucks!" ...oh man...
+2
You want facts? Here's a fact: In our last 8 meetings (excluding the super cup) Bayern has won once. ONCE. No wonder you want to count the super cup. Including the super cup, both of those wins were by 1 goal. One good season doesn't automatically erase the 2 years before. Bayern has a good team but they are not automatic favourites.
+1
Word.

excellent Dortmund as usual impressive!!!
Also must say, such a clean game. No poor fouls, no diving, only one yellow card.
kucher deserved a second yellow!
+1
Great game...so much power, pace, passion !!! Really amazing. Both teams played brilliantly. Both created chances, but Dortmund were clinical in finishing.
+1
Shakhtar has some serious speed from their players!
