Where is the hard-to-beat Liverpool from 08/09?
with alonso (was there ever a player so vital to our current squad) and mascherano gone it's open season in our midfield.
gone for many years
Its been a distant memory ...
what a goal by torres !
if liverpool go on like this torres wont be there to sore also !
reina is a good keeper but i dont know why he makes the toughest saves yet lets in the easiest ones !
i think 4 a player 2 get the goal of the week award there team has 2 also win..cuz it look stupid looking bak on a game u lost!1
Not single liverpool player showed an interest in wining the game or dominating it, they were walking around, the attacks were too slow, its like they had a hangover or something, poor marking, poor passes losing possession every-time. The first squad need changes, the line up sucks, and has no morale, its better if we play reserve players like kelly and so forth they will work hard to put their names on paper, but no this sorry ass first squad we have, no one is really putting efforts, look how we played after they scored the 2nd Goal, it was totally like we were the one wining....RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol.. they did seem like they were playing with a hangover. At least you're not in denial, unlike some other Liverpool fans that want to keep the squad as is no matter how many games the team loses.
This is going very bad for Liverpool right now
Captain Obvious strikes again!

GOD! that liverpool lineup is awful!
looks like torres is back in form, hard to judge by the short highlights but looks like we need one or even two defenders. i'm sure the king will get us back to playing well, 3 to 4 weeks and we will have a good playing team.
by "highlights" do you mean his hair :)
Get some better players mann! It's boring watching them play like this, it's not as exciting as it used to be anymore. At least loan some useful defenders for half a season !
i won't lie but all of these up-relegated teams ie blackpool and hercules are doing really well, i mean blackpool has put up stunning 3-point steals. and hercules has beaten the almighty!
what a stunning goal by torres, absolutely wonderful, if only liverpool would improve their form and we will see the previous cl champions!
Major changes in the back required

Johnson, Kyrgiakos, Aurelio have got to go.
yup, kyrgiakos sucks like crap :D
What the hell are you talking about? Aurelio didn't even play this game! he is always good when he plays. So before writing such random thing, try to watch him play!

Alright then keep the same squad and keep losing. Reading your coments on this thread seems like you need a wake up call and accept that the squad you guys have right now is s**t. Or you can wait for next year when you guys will be playing in the Championship to start making changes.
It's skrtel, krryiagos, johnson, konchesky that need to go.. aurelio is our most reliable left-back

good thing LFC supporters are real fans and will continue to walk with the club, despite their recent short-comings.

i won't excuses, blackpool played with a lot of heart, and their supporters created a great atmosphere for their players. it's always good to see the "smaller" clubs do well and silence the skeptics; i hope holloway brings even more success to blackpool next season, and wish them the best.

will kenny dalglish silence some of his own skeptics? hopefully. either way the man threw himself into the fire for his beloved club. no matter what happens this season, he's king kenny, liverpool's number 7.

Its an absolute pleasure watching the bitter rivals float 4 points above relegation :-) And even more satisfying watchin rival fans heap pity on them "what a shame, poor liverpool"...yep,your pitycases now.. "Oh King Kenny will save us,YNWA!!.." Really yea? It doesn't change the immediately obvious fact liverpool only have 2 players, the rest are borderline average or mediocre. Players are needed asap. Gerrard and Torres must be pulling their hair out with frustration surrounded with such players
Can't wait till you idiots lose fergie.. watch it all come crumbling down.. then we'll see you clowns crying out for beckham or sumone to come save you.
why kick someone when they are down?
