Cech is one heck of a committed goalkeeper - even with his knock he was still able to perform the way that he normally does.

Frank Lampard's goal was a little unorthodox, but a good goal none-the-less. Well taken.

Torres? Another howler miss to add to the one against Manchester United. What more could be said?
Nice header from lampard

Blackburn played really well, innocent until proven guilty! Fans are too demanding these days. Spolit for choice thats what it is.
Lampard headed the ball where he should just kicked and Torres kicked the ball where he should headed. Different result. :)

Cech saved Chelsea!!! and great goal by Lampard!!! The last Torres was aweful :(

hahahahaha I always laugh when I see someone lay on the ground to reach a header when they could of just used their foot. Good goal anyways though.

we won,u lost...jst keep quiet

It was a compliment. And it wouldn't of mattered if the player scoring was wearing red or blue or tie-dye....I still would of laughed at the goal. Lighten up fella!

and we tied... so techniclly your entire argument is faulty :P
why didnt lampard just use his leg for that goal lol
+1
cause maybe he thought the ball might go up higher but didnt realize it was so low so he didnt hesitate to use his head.
duurrrr
He scored, that's all that matters in the end

grow some balls torres!

Cech did better when he got the injury. How could that be?
Torres shouldn't even need to jump for the last attempt.
cech is always getting better

torres well I dont know what to say
He should have headed the ball instead of shooting it would have been a goal if he did that.
So here is how the table will look like at the end of the season:
#1. Torres (vs man united)
#2. Torres (vs blackburn)
#3. Torres (TBD)

This is of course the table of worst misses of the season.

For all the critical comments against Chelsea - a team brimming with talent and strength in depth will eventually get it right. How can anyone expect the new approach adopted by AVB to work without fault from the outset? There are 27 more games to go...

There have been alot of positives to note since the start of the season and despite this lethargic performance Chelsea completely outplayed QPR with 9 men for 45 mins, won a very difficult game against Everton in the League Cup with 10 men for 60 mins and despite the poor defensive performance against Arsenal, created a host of chances and could have won the game.

People don't seem to realise that Blackburn actually played well. Chelsea were clearly short on confidence but they still created several clear cut chances. The important thing is a clean sheet, as can be seen with Man United's 1-0 victory straight after their humiliating defeat.

A long way to go and I wouldn't start jumping to conclusions.

Cech is a real warrior. And who would have thought Lampard would still be winning us games 10 years on... Not a convincing performance but it's about time we had a bit of luck.
about time we had a bit of luck too! :P
I'm starting to believe Torres is doing it on purpose!!

hopefully this summer we will get a right winger (Hazard?) and we probably need a new good defender. defending has always been our strength but as AVB is an attacking man, our defence has weakened. i hope AVB is our manager for a long time. abramovich apparently likes him so hopefully he will keep his job. nice clean sheet but we've just lost our confidence.

I'm glad Torres didn't score that goal because his original pass was horrendous
