if we cant defend, might as well use a 3-5-2 formation like napoil

at least we'd score more goals that way

the commentator lost his voice the day after this game
Need a new defensive coach as well as a strong "english" defender. Mertesaker is good but how can he lead a frenchmen that cant speak good english, when hes german and hes english isnt up to scratch neither?

Gervinho is a selfish prick and someone tell me why arsene went for this santos guy instead of Enrique??

They need to sort themselves out fast or the stadiums gonna be empty soon, why pay to watch a self proclaimed big club lose to smaller opposition?
Poor defense Arsenal, could be the beginning of the end Wenger`s! Let´s see...
Arsenal are lucky to have Van Persie. Such an amazing player. I cant even picture them without him... i really cant my mind just draws blank its almost like...he is arsenal.

Hes the reason they still have an attacking presence. Iknow there has been a bunch of new players in and they have to get use to eachother and the style of arsenal but untill they get a solid good win. they wont have the confidence to start winning.
chamakh would be a better replacement for gervinho

Gervinho hasn't adopted to Arsenal's passing style yet. We surely miss Nasri.

I think its the end for Wenger, he has to go.. Arsenal no matter how good going forward were horrendous at the back. Fans and critics hav been crying out 4 yrs to sign defenders n he brings Squilaci n Koscielny. The best they can finish is 6th. It will b a miracle if they win one of the cups or go past round of 16 in champs league.
No excuses here, about buying new players. Other clubs bought new players also and these players have started yielding results...Aguero, Adebayo, Cabaye, Jones, Young, Mata etc. A good player is always a good player. Arsenal should beware of relegation!
2 own goals... just bad luck.
there's always an excuse! :P
Gervinho pisses me the f**k off!!

the premier league needs arsenal to perform... as a united fan... i hope they get their act together... something needs to change... i don't know what gaps need to be filled... but it's not working. unlucky in this game... i feel sorry for them

Wenger sorted out the attack issue, but he did nothing for the defence. I was watching the post match analysis and arsenal zone marking strategy was their own outdoing.

Well, Blackburn rained in on Arsenal's parade :P. Jokes and puns aside, Blackburn had their own stroke of luck in this one - 2 OG's for Arsenal. It obviously shows that their defensive woes haven't been fixed to be honest.

And Gerivinho - talented, but far out, so darn selfish! Van Persie could've had an easy goal in the first half if it wasn't for him...

Overall, there's talent in the Arsenal side, but they really need to learn to gel better.

How can you criticise Gervinho for being selfish? That's exactly what we need, a selfish goalscorer who is willing to take a shot!

Luis Suarez is selfish as hell, but I doubt you'd criticise him for that? If Suarez wasn't selfish he wouldn't be half as good as he is.

Suarez selfish? 7 goals, 5 assists
