west ham unlucky not to equalize from kieran dyer and then birmingham unlucky not to have two goals after jerome's shock miss.

terrible that dean ashton was forced to retire. great football player. would have liked to see him become a national team regular.

christian benitez has possibly the worst haircut in the premier league along with fellaini's afro and paul scharner's bleach-job.

Birmingham is racking up the points quite rapidly. Great job from Mcleish. I really want West Ham to stay up because I enjoy the positive football they display. Only negative teams should be demoted even though thats not the case in football today. Efficiency over beauty.

Diamanti is West Ham's best player right now aside of the injured Cole, can't believe Zola make him warm the bench most of the matches, again today, he proved important.
