Sunderland had many chances to win but simply failed. They have struggled badly for the past few months after once having Europa dreams. Mingolet hasn't done well since Gordan has been out. Both goals should have dealt with as they weren't all that threatening while Ben Foster has been outstanding. Birmingham looks to have stayed up, despite their lack of excitement.

Damn!!...wth is wrong with Sunderland....each week a new disappointment....they seem to be in free fall.....a draw would have been acceptable but this is just pathetic...I feel so bad for steve bruce because as a manager you can only do so much...its left for the players on the pitch to provide the goods.
