Liverpool really need to take something away from this game....3 points are needed not only for the sake of a win, but to feel some confidence going into the match against United.

Benitez was surprisingly cool about the incident, but the kid should have never done that stupidity. He should never be allowed to watch any game in any stadium again. I'm not crazy about Liverpool, but I don't think it was funny.
i was surprised with his reaction as well. i was expecting rage, but i'm glad he maintained his cool. if it was SAF, he'd be red in the face.
can you imagine Alex Ferguson's reaction if this happened? "I don't understand why a ref doesn't do his homework. Everyone knows the rules, the refs in Europe are as sharp as Eagles and they would have clawed the ball out instantly. This ref is not fit enough for this class and level of games"
