Watching: Matthias Sammer and Jupp Heynckes give their reaction to Bayern Munich drawing Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final. Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes described the Champions League semi-final match up between his side and Barcelona as "a delicacy for all football viewers, " on Friday Treble-chasing Bayern - the beaten finalists in 2012 - will come up against Barcelona over two legs, while Borussia Dortmund were drawn against Real Madrid for the second time in this season's competition. The draw ensured domestic hostilities would be postponed for the time being, although it did open up the possibility of an all German - or all Spanish - final at Wembley on 25th May. Surprisingly Bayern and Barcelona have met just six times in European competition, with only one win for the Spaniards. Bayern will be at home for the first leg, something that General Manager Matthias Sammer does not see as a disadvantage. Barcelona are chasing their third Champions League title in five seasons, but Bayern are arguably the form team in Europe. They wrapped up the Bundesliga in style earlier this month with six games to spare, and cruised past Serie A champions Juventus 4-0 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
