State of the Art, FC Bayern.
Good for Bayern to win at home, they are a good team and deserve to be in Champions League, only good thing I saw from Zurich is goalie made some key saves, but ya, and good 2 goals, especially Robben's Curl, great goal, good for them

Robben can just curl them boys in from the right side every time!

True
sweet goal by robben
haha... Ribery has gotten fat, he looked very tired after the match
agree
probably because of the injury he got last time he was just sitting the whole time
Oh I'm so looking forward to the end of the season and seeing some of the haters' faces. In the end, Gomez will have scored 40+ goals once again and you'll just sit there and wonder, "WTF just happened?!".

Gomez scored 46 goals (+8 assists) in 53 matches last season, averaging 1 goal every 86 minutes.

Now, let's compare that to the best two players of the world:

Messi: 66 games, 57 goals (+32!!! assists), averaging 1 goal every 98 minutes. [lol he's so insane]
C. Ronaldo: 59 games, 56 goals (+20 assists), averaging 1 goal every 89 minutes.

And now some worldclass strikers:

Rooney: 46 games, 17 goals (+17 assists), averaging 1 goal every 215 minutes.
Eto'o: 60 games, 41 goals (+17 assists), averaging 1 goal every 125 minutes.
Kun Agüero: 47 games, 32 goals (+7 assists), averaging 1 goal every 114 minutes.
Higuaín: 32 games, 16 goals (+6 assists), averaging 1 goal every 139 minutes.
David Villa: 62 games, 28 goals (+13 assists), averaging 1 goal every 169 minutes.
Carlos Tévez: 50 games, 25 goals (+13 assists), averaging 1 goal every 159 minutes.
Ibrahimovic: 49 games, 28 goals (+15 assists), averaging 1 goal every 142 minutes.

Some of these guys' last year's performances look pretty pale compared to what Gomez put in that net last season. In my opinion, he's definitely one of the best strikers of the world and I'm sure he'll prove a lot of you guys wrong for hating on him so early this season. Mind my words!

I completely agree! But try telling Georgio that..
tha stats dont lie he can score goals, but thats cuz he was on form last season hes a very emotional player, wich is why his international record is so bad, i could care less if he scores 100 goals this season i want him gone when his contract is up, he wastes chances against big teams. and dosent step up to the plate when we need him

yeah last season Gomez somehow managed to push the ball over the line various amounts of times but have you seen his highlights? It's just stand in front of the goal, wait for the richochet and push the ball over the line after a hardcore Robben shot. Not denying he isn't effective, but this performance reminded me of his first and second season at bayern... the old Gomez...

...but Barca won the Champs League. There's the difference.
...and Munich didn't win Bundesliga. It's a team sport, not a one man show... no matter how good you are.
I would much rather have arjen robben on my team than gay boy gomez

Put Olic instead of Gomez
Olic isnt fit yet. Petersen would be a good idea though. I am tired of Gomez, his performance in this match shows his obvious technical weaknesses. He is a good striker in terms of presence and positioning but that alone is not enough if U want to compete with the elite.

Mario Gomez, please do not waste any more chances! We'll pay for that some big day...

whenever Robben touches the ball, the dead kittens killed by Justin Bieber are brought back to life

Hope we become more efficient scoring as the season goes on, or we will pay for it. Typical goal from Robben.
