no need to blame Wenger for current failures, it is players who are not performing. Arsenal need to clean up the squad this summer if they wish to come back to the best
never say neuer

Again Bayern choke as usual, they will never win the UCL this season..

What are u talking mate? We have already won the UCL...
I never said Bayern haven't won the UCL before, for most part they're always chokers. And i don't see them winning it this season.
How can people say we were awesome? Aside from Giroud's goal (which was class) and the fact that we actaully defended this game (thanks to a keeper who TALKS with his D and isnt a p**sy), Arsenal had no foothold. This whole tie was odd, Arsenal seemed to beat themselves in London and Bayern beat themselves here. I believe both teams are capable of more. Wish Arsenal could be more consistent. Good luck to Bayern in the quarters.

Again same story with Arsenal FC!

Its time now for Arsenal players to take the responsibility of their failure. Though they scored 2 crafted goals but they lacked in every bit of play. One can easily see lack of communication and lack of synchronization among them. Even their pass-completion rate is lower than Bayern München who according to their standards had a very off night. On numerous occasions, the mid-field failed to make passes to wingers. I had casually counted to 4 times when Rosicky made a pass to Theo only to find him either few meters up or few meters back from the point where he should deliver it. I wonder something happened to his eye-sights. He can't see the positioning of his own team-mates. Same story with Arteta.
Even pass-master Santi Cazorla failed to deliver. But in his case I would rather blame the wingers and the full-backs. When they needed to make a run they were found lingering in their original positions and when they needed to make a cut-in runs through Bayern's mid-field they were expecting a through ball from the him.

Its high time for these players to accept their mistakes. They should raise their level.

With all due respect, but in my view Arsenal are still a better team than Chelsea, Man City or Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal *can* be a better team than Chelsea, City, Spurs. showing it once a month against West Ham doesn't qualify
They can be once they allows Arsene Wenger to stick with the players for a long time and buy experienced players..
If Gervinho kicked Neuer there like the Swansea ballboy, he would have missed. His finishing is worse than Torres.

Actually, Gervs did well to get the shot off. That was not easy at all. It was a good effort.

Nobody's finishing is worst than Torres.
what happened to those 20 minutes extended highlights?

Everyone saying that Arsenal were unlucky... But why? they had only 2 shots on target and 2 goals. And yes, that was the worst bayern performance this season and every player knows it. Watching the score is not enough... 86. min arsenal scored the 2-0 then it became exiting and dont blame neuer for wasting, every experienced player would have done that... some people talking about a red card for martinez? what a joke... yellow or no card but never red.
However it i hope that ribery and schweinsteiger will play in the quarterfinals, bayern are much stronger with them in the lineup.
But how can you not blame Neuer for time wasting when he indeed did so. Just because everyone does something doesn't mean it is alright to do so. Arsenal fans are enraged by the fact that nothing was done by the referee for the injustice Arsenal suffered. Imagine your favourite team suffered the same injustice, surely you will feel the same way as the Arsenal fans right now. To prevent such cases from re-occuring, I would suggest that FIFA make it a rule that time wastage would warrant a Yellow or No Card, and in such cases 3 times of the amount of time wasted be added back as extra time. For example, a player wasted 2 minutes of game time, then 6 minutes will be added as extra time.

Shankz, Arsenal probably would have had more shots on goal if not for the intentional fouling and time wasting by Bayern. Also, Walcott was onside.

I have watched many teams get one shot on goal and beat Arsenal, and they parked the bus. To beat Bayern at home and keep a clean sheet is huge...you know that.
Arsenal is one of the teams I like in England and I really hoped they would do something yesterday, but 1988 people voting for them as being "awesome" , honestly??? They had 3 chances in the whole game, never were able to put Bayern under pressure but somehow managed to score two. Efficient, without a doubt, but definetly not awesome.
First time I can describe a team as sore winners...

2nd time (at least). Last year they beat AC Milan 3-0 and still didn't qualify.

Should have kept walcott because they needed his speed for counter attack and his skill for set pieces and set pieces and counter attack were the only weakness of bayern defence.
I think the neur bashing is getting a bit too much i know that little stunt he pulled off isnt something to be proud off but i think most footballers given any team would do that that to waste time for his team and i repeat its nothing to be proud of and certsinly not very good in the spirit of the game and should have been carded but to say he is a loser a little c**t etc etc is a little too much i think
I totally agree. People don't realize a) what's at stake here and b) that sooner or later EVERY team will stall eventually.
such an a** you are neuer! always hated him. hard luck arsenal.

funny, this was one of maybe 4 matches all season where we didnt have a "good day" and all of a sudden Bayern is getting discredited by so many. When Barca lost to Milan several weeks ago everybody was "meeeh, Barca has lost it, no CL this season" but look how their stocks skyhighed again after their last magnificent display. The moods swing fast in football.

Imo this was a good result for both teams: Arsenal got their honor back. And for us it was a pretty good wake-up call since we started becoming a bit too complacent.

Better team won over the two legs so I think the outcome is fair for both sides.

Its what happens when you reach a certain standard of quality i.e Messi not scoring for 1 game then the media jumping on that fact saying he's peaked and past it then the next game he scores a hat trick and the same critics are saying he's the greatest player ever to walk the earth. Its how the media works as it generates gossip and debate which then leads onto more people reading/watching their articles/interviews or whatever. The best thing to do is to ignore all the bull s**t and stick to your opinion.

Bayern are probably in the top 3 teams in the world and they'll definitely at least get to the semis.

However bitter the result maybe for us gunners i still think we'll be playing in the champions league next season. My opinion and i'm sticking to it

As you reach a certain level people gonna hate you and envy you so just ignore the bs whoever says bayern is not a good team is a blind hater no doubt about that and judging a team by one game is ridiculously stupid so know your team and you will be allright
Nowadays, we have to live up with the Morons also called Journalists in media. Don't take their writings seriously, enjoy the game as an expectator, fan and football lover.
