you are a hater or just stupid. messi plays great for his country his passing is insane and he dose score less with the national team but the guy can only do so much. It's actually a really good point. Michael Jordan played in the most competitive and most skillful basketball league ever the NBA.. I'll admit Messi is the best player in the world right now. LEAGUE WISE. But he plays in the spanish league. Which lets be honest, just recently started to become a competitive league. Now im not saying the spanish league isn't a good league it is. However it's not the best league. The english league constantly has upsets and therefore is the more competitive league. I would love to see Messi go up and play against fullham blackpool blackburn and see if he'd be able to do week in and weekout what he does in the spanish league. Applz, I'm sorry you function on the notion that in order to be a legend you MUST win a world cup, but the rest of the rationale world of people who are actually WATCHING this sport and not just paying attention to arbitrary statistics know that Messi is already a legend. Just adding to my previous comment, Messi is only 24.. he´s a got a lot of great football in him and he will become better even though that sound unrealistic.. Also, about my michael jordan comment, it took him 7 years to finally win a championship. Michael jordan with no doubt will go down as one of the greatest athletes on this planet, but messi is still young. not saying messi will surpass any legends, but he might you never know. My suggestion is, for everyone to admire his football as he still is playing today, enjoy it because you won´t see this kind of football in a long time after he retires. But, the day he retires, we can compare him to marradona or anyone else. He might win 2 world cups, you never know...

First of all we don't hold the ball back. We simply hold the ball in our possession. Second If you find it boring stop watching. And to finish you off I find English ping pong.. Agreed, EPL is absolutely chaotic in comparison to watching Barca - even Man U is considered to be having a brilliant moment if they string 10+ passes together. Barca have been innovative, yes, but other team's failed attempts to do the same have shown that Barca's players have quality beyond mere tiki-taka. They're all brilliant, and there's no one in the world with the touch or the vision of Barca's midfield, or the finesse of Messi.

I take EPL over La Liga all day any day. Just because you're jealous of our league doesn't mean you have to go around insulting the EPL.
