we need to get better than this if we planning to beat Madrid and especially Milan at the Camp Nou, Messi needs to raise the bar as well, he's been playing like guarding himself but not giving his all, we all know what he can do when he has a good/great game.
Messi cant be the be all and end all for Barcelona, the whole team need to change there tactics maybe something different than just possession football.
@KidultHood - what do you know ?? You just come here and put disparaging remarks on barca commentators and fans. You pretend to have an interest and best intentions for barca but you are all the while a snake in the grass. I saw your comments when we lost - you are a true chameleon. @Jepc92003 is a true and concerned barca fan. HANDS OFF !!!!
@ITenzo why are you mad at me bro, as i said i'm a Messi supporter not a Barcelona supporter unlike you i was criticizing the team while they lost you seems to criticize them when they're winning i've been seeing your comments. If you did not see something wrong in the AC Milan performance then you're not a true fan of Barca, they were poor, boring and predictable in the game against Milan. Now to you, I have seen alot of your past comments criticizing Messi a lot of times when he scores and win the games for Barcelona, what's up with that?
@KidultHood sorry I misunderstood you. I thought you were personally attacking me. By the way, when I made remarks about messi I was only trying to get other people's views: for example I asked whether it was just me thinking messi was dipping in form - that was out of concern not sarcasm.

And of course I see your view point too: liking messi but not team which at first would look hypocritical but having explained yourself I totally understand.

So lets put this direct attacks on one side and restart with respect.

Wish us luck on our return match against Milan .
it just wouldn't be a complete barcelona game without a messi goal
The Barcelona players look tired and jaded to me. They still play well and win most games, but in these highlights at least they looked to be missing that zealous, desperate need to beat their man, finish a run, win the ball back and combine with their teammates. I dunno.
It gets boring to play when you're that good. Also, alot of the starters didn't play so hence the slower momentum.

Both madrid and barca deserve a pat on the back for coming back but i was hoping barca would lose :p Regardless, this weeks clasicos are going to be strange ones, seeing we have a huge match against united. Curious to see what mou has in mind
Poor defending on Villa's goal. Nobody even tried to stop him. The Sevilla defense didn't even jump!
yeah but that's insulting the cross a little dont you think?
+1
Yeah, that cross was perfection.
Shame I didn't get to watch, looks like the team got the boost it needed from coming back like that. Though it needed scrappy defending on both goals, and Negredo choking when he should have scored.
I'd appreciate if all critics credit this win to barca. Came from behind to claim victory just as madrid did. It was due criticism when we got beat by Milan but this was a good and much needed win - credit where credit's due

why do you care so much, it wont add/subtract anything from the team and what they did
?????????
Well, Barca gives always the impression they can score at any time, at every attack. In the first goal Sevilla should have not leave a man one to one against Dani Alves. If you want to have chances against a Barca you need absolutely to double the defense everytime on both right and left sides. And obviously be focused and concentrated 90 minutes in order to not allow any quick pass or triangulation which Barca can do very well in narrow spaces. Milan managed to do that in San Siro but at Camp Nou is much moreeeeee difficult, for anybody! Pitch is larger, audience is supportive and huge! As I said in another post, Milan won't go go through if they don't score at least another goal.
With that being said, the second goal here (Messi goal) would probably not happen against any team with a decent and concentrated defense phase.

I've looked this up out of curiosity, and it appears that the San Siro and the Camp Nou have the same pitch dimensions. Other than that, agree with your post. I think there's a good chance Barça score 2 or even 3 in the 2nd leg but there's an at least equally good chance Milan score one because we almost never get clean sheets these days. 4-1 is a tall order, so I think there's a >50% chance of Milan going through even though it's certainly far from over.

@Ilikeairports totally agree - well summed up

We really needed this win and we did it. we are in a strong position in the League but we have to keep our hands on Copa Del Rey and make a come back in Champions League
we can surely do it. we are Barcelona and for us nothing is impossible.

i have to say that barcelona is currently the strongest team on earth that is playing the most boring football... the first season was beautiful but it's getting repetitive, you know that....
How about we all drop some acid together?
how an earth Manchester United fans talking about beautiful football? i can not stop laughing.
Manchester United have only one strategy from last 20 years and that is.. Goal Keeper to Winger and Winger To Striker.
master of long balls, master of scrappy wins and king of lucky wins. every team come to our ground and park their bus in front of their own goal and Manchester United is one of those teams.

Yes we lost to Milan but for once credit barca with this win. Leave tuesday to tuesday and weekend to weekend and CL to CL. PERIOD !
barcelona and MU fans should be friends together lol
