Don't know why Barcelona fans continue to deny that their league isn't competitive enough. While Barcelona is the best club team in the world right now, la liga is one of the least interesting of the top leagues. I would much rather watch one like the premier league or Bundesliga where the top teams are often given a hard go by lesser teams. For example Stoke jsut held United 1-1.

yea thats because united sucks. I guarantee atletico madrid or valencia could beat united..plus if you actually watched la liga you would know that valencia was ebating abrca a few weeks back, and barca had to come back to get a draw. So much more skill in la liga.

No doubt Barcelona are a great team but it is true that they have an easy ride in La Liga. Things are little more competitive now but really, it isnt that good.

And Revention, you cannot big up yourself about beating English teams because the ref was huge when you beat both Chelsea and Arsenal in the CL. We all know it.

Reventon, He has a point. There is a formula for shutting down Barca and its been done before by Chelsea and Inter. The question must be asked, why dont other teams do what Inter and Chelsea did? But in the same way, look at what Barca have done in the Champions league to teams from the Premiership, Bundesliga, and La liga. Barca wil even put three past Real if they feel like it. Scary thought.

If you're talking about parking the bus against barcelona, yeah it may work because it frustrates the hell out of us and other football fans. But if you do park the bus be expecting A LOT of criticism from the viewers, but that is not the only way to beat us...if you witnessed what Arsenal did against us in the emirates playing football toe to toe also works.

Otisb, the only PL team that Barca beat convincingly of late was United. I think Fergie got his team selection terribly wrong but they beat United properly. Credit where it is due.

@Sebparedes no it isn't. Considering how bad Arsenal are & Van Persie was sent off for no reason!!! And Bentner came on and missed a sitter which would've sent you crashing out of the competition.
And what about Chelsea where 3 penalty decisions were turned down.
Oh and Man utd are crap so please don't talk about them; the team who packs midfield out with standard players who can't pass the ball when playing against you: They only win EPL because of extremely biassed refereeing (such as Howard Webb), and also EPL is filed up with troll managers like Sam Allardyce who purposely lose, and have an inferiority complex about Man utd.

If Barca are that good they wouldn't need to con their fellow pros, and the crowd (who want to see 11 vs 11 and an even match) whenever against tricky opposition (Busquets, D Alves)
