So in fact that would be bad economics having high wage players on the bench not playing and not all teams are built like Man City.
Don't forget we got Cesc for like less than 2mill (35-2=33), 33mill profit, yh that is bad economics.
Talk about finances, are United not in massive debt, when the banks come knocking for thier money, will the club pay?
All that aside, I'm happy to see Cesc enjoying his football and scoring.
This coming from a support of a club who spent 30+ for Berba and god knows how much for Bebe.
Busquets's one touch passes are unarguably the best. On the other hand, Xabi's vision (his long passes) is outstanding as well and his defensive ability is What makes him one of the greatest DMF!
IMO, Alonso is a pure DM where he plays closely to his defense but Busquets is more a CM who can be a helpful factor on attacking sense!
- The Barça-have-all-referees-on-their-side crowd isn't really big on this comment section it seems but just in case one of them drops by: Both Cuenca and Messi could have been given penalty kicks, and should have by strict definition of the rules. Although I'll admit in Cuenca's case that karma is a bitch.
- I'm glad to see what the team can do without Messi. It didn't even feel like there was anything really missing in the first half. And that was without Iniesta as well. Fabregàs is awesome on a good day, best Barcelona (re-)purchase in a while. The 2-0 is my goal of the week.
- Osasuna are a weird team at the moment. I think they just get intimidated when Barcelona and Real turn up. That's the only way I can explain how they're 5th in La Liga and THAT nonexistent on the pitch against Barça. It's one thing to lose at the Camp Nou, it's another to have a 0-12 score after two games there.
