@Barca10ahn u cant ask Lanre a question like that he will come with the silly little excuse that rooney plays in a harder league so he cant do it ........ lol.... as if pele moved from santos in his life ... lol

not tryin to make a comparison with messi and pele for the moment that shouldnt be done am jus saying its ridiculous how people think about the beautiful game sometimes ... lol.... i mean also saw sum1 sayin messi is a great headder of the ball ... how is that possible at 5ft 7 and ur team passing it along the ground 99% of the time ??...... (am a messi fan) (CL final vs manu doesnt apply ... lol)

let us be mature and stop being biased and unreasonable!
it was a well deserved game for barca...but luck wasn't on our side;(
messi is unreal
This should be 4-0. Why? Because Barca is playing. LOL
guess it should be 6-1 ..heeehhehehe

Ronaldo is incredibly skilled at what? Scoring tap-ins? Failed dribbles? Diving? The only thing Ronaldo is good at is scoring the OCASSIONAL long shot or freekick. Most of Ronaldos goals are put on a plate for Ronaldo by ozil and Benzema. While Messi is a highly skilled dribbiler, freekicker, playmaker, sprinter and can even head the ball quite well.

You're a clown.

Ronaldo is still good. To be honest, we as fans have no rights to judge a professional player. Because we aren't even half of their level. So, be decent. STFU!

its our duty to judge players
the passing... holy cr@p...
the three top players in the world right now are messi, xavi, and iniesta. Yes, ronaldo is incredibly skilled, but xavi and iniesta probaly have the best touch on the ball since zidane. No doubt in the running for the top 10 center mids of all time.

At football... The occasional tap ins? He scores so much. I'm not a ronaldo fan, but im not ignorant.

Something to think about: Messi doesn't seem particularly interested in playing with his fellow strike partners. Pedro ran his tail off to get in position during the build up to Villa's goal and was wide open for a pass from Messi before Messi lost possession. I also can recall many times in other games where Messi has tried to finish off a move alone when Villa is wide open and simply waiting for the final ball.

I love Barca's style and Messi is fantastic but it would be nice to see the teamwork which makes Barca great extend all the way from defense through midfield and into the last few passes. Messi's trying to do too much.

Yeah, sometimes Messi doesn't notice a teammate. But if you can dribble a bit yourself, you'll definitely know how incredibly hard it is to keep your vision when almost your entire focus is on keeping the ball, passing the defenders, not losing balance and shooting.

David Villa recently said that he felt privileged to play with Messi for a number of reasons, but the most striking one was that he said "Messi always sees you. Even when you come from behind his back and think he could have never seen you coming, he gives that perfect pass". So even though Leo doesn't pass the ball 100% of the times he can/should, I think it's only fair to say that when he doesn't, he simply didn't see the player or that he can not pass the ball well, or he thinks it's better to try to score himself.

I would have to say that in this particular game, Messi was slightly obsessed with scoring, he didn't pass the ball at times when he should have done. But, in general, he's a team player, that's why he is where he is, and that's why barça are where they are

I agree, Messi sometimes shuld better pass the ball

but he was the player of the most assist in his team last year so in general yuo can't blame him
mybe in this game he didn't pass the ball but in other games he did.

nobody dribbles like Messi. he dances with the ball
