As a Man U fan the greatest mistake i ever made was thinking Ronaldo was better than Messi. The lil devil even has a hustling spirit to him. It must be greatly annoying to barca fans when people hate on them, but; there are far too many arrogant barca fans. learn to win gracefully please. Yes, La Liga is weaker in the middle and the bottom than the Premiership. No one is disputing that. However, if you think that Barca aren't the best team in the world right now, then you're blind or insane. Seriously, the football they play is just out of this world.

The top team in the Premiership this season is Utd, FFS! A very flawed team, who are only succeeding because everyone else near them is even more inconsistent than they are. Just admit that we're watching a once-in-a-generation team in Barca 2011, and shut up.

Barcelona shouldn't even have been in the Champions League Final in Rome anyways. That was a fixed match against Chelsea. Without that terrible referee they wouldnt have been able to face us. Let alone our then in form Darren Fletcher getting carded for an amazing slide tackle inside in the box when he got all ball. Which ruled him out of the final when we definitely could've used him.
On another note Messi is unreal in La Liga. But please against proper defenders he wouldn't be doing crap like this day in and day out. He would score a lot of goals but hat tricks every game, absolutely not. If Arsenal don't beat them I would love to see Tottenham get drawn against them. That team will run them ragged.

Is the Spanish League uncompetitive? Yes, Would Barca go on a 16 game unbeaten streak in the EPL? HELL NO! All you guys...are a funny bunch...i don't know if Barcelona is the best team in the world or not, certainly have been playing well for a while now...the great thing about Barcelona is they do their talking on the pitch...so i guess we'll see, i guess last year's 4-1 against Arsenal (one of the top teams in the Premiere) wasn't enough to convince you guys, and also 2 year's ago beating Man U at the CL final, also not enough...you fill your mouths with how barcelona wouldn't cut it at the Premiere...it's been too long you've been using that excuse...and none of your teams has beaten us for a while so...we'll see....you might kcki us out of the CL and that will be that, who knows...the truth is they are pretty f***ing good, and your league might be exciting but it doesn't make it the BEST...let's not think we are always the centre of the WORLD...what would happen if South American teams were allowed at the CL? How can anyone put Barcelona or in fact Messi on a pedastool, the defending of Athletico Madrid was truly awful, reminiscent too that of an English Championship side. Furthermore it cannot be argued that their bad defending was caused by the brilliance of Barcelona, seriously take a look at the first and thrid goal especially, truly atrocious defending. I am close follower of la liga and I have to say the defence of most teams is very poor. Put a well organised English team such as stoke against Barcelona and they would have a difficult time breaking them down. For people who will argue that they smashed Arsenal in the champions league last year should realize that essentially arsenal are a spanish team who cannot defend as seen at the weekend against Newcastle. If they were in the EPL they would come nowhere near to winning it as the physical demands are too much. Sorry about the rant I'm just tired of people raving about Barcelona, they are basically a Celtic or Rangers on a bigger scale.

The beautiful game of football is organised by FIFA and i guess they (FIFA) were not dumb to think of a competition that they named ''CL'' makin' sure the best clubs in Europe could face each other to see the best of the bests in a season, though sometimes it's not always the best that gets the upper hand in a match.

La liga is completely different from the rest of the leagues in Europe. Infact every league has its own characteristics...and it's a huge waste of time to read comments which suggests a switch of league for teams in la liga just to prove EPL is best, stronger or whatever.
Personaly i dont care. Let EPL fans enjoy their league and may the best there succeed as long as it can. Barca does just that in la Liga. And to be honest i dont think our players or staff gives a damn abt EPL. We dont play there and never will. The only competition in which and EPL team will ever face barca is in the CL.
PS: @EPL fans....y'all may not know this but in terms of CL (overall) spanish teams has 12 champions league whilts english teams has 11. Unfortunately italian teams has 12 too. Makin' it 1 more than u guys EPL.

That been said, i'd like to say how funny some others sound when they say barca's success is based on Messi. It's funny becoz 6,7 yrs ago the same people certainly said barca's success was based on Ronaldinho. So whatever!!!! based on Messi or not it really doesn't matter. I recall Pep sayin' how important Messi is for the team as well as how important the team is for Messi. A good example to this is Man U. They had CR7 and when he left so many thought it was the end of Man U or almost their end....yet, there they are!

So please give a brake to barca and barca's fans! if u can't bow to a teaam so strong or at least recognise their amazing strenght compare to many other teams in europe, then at least admit to urself how hard it must be for u (non barca fans) to see how amazing they are compared to ur respective teams!

It is amazing to me how many people come to this page and trash Barca...do they actually watch any games? Every single football sage and expert agree that the best club in the world is Barca, It isn't even close. To come on this page and spout nonsense is just dumb. It isn't even response worthy...in fact it is a waste of time.

Someone has to be the best in any sport...that's the way it works. All fans of the sport that love and respect it bow to this team ( and secretly wish theirs was just like it...)because they know true greatness when they see it and respect it. It is okay to do so...it gives all of the rest of us hope that our team can reach this point too..it also gives us something else: the satisfaction of seeing perfection in the sport we love...and it must be said..by players we all respect...no drama's here...no drugs busts...no sex with minors...no fights in the bars...no racists...no crude and lewd behavior...these are the best doing the best at what we all love to see.
