what about that iniesta pass for a fab goal... how deceptive is iniesta.. cheeky cheeky cheeky - love it!
this team is not normal
Rifles. Rifles everywhere.
This team is super and Messi my God what can you say. I hope they don't get tired especially these couple months coming.

Assist of the season nominee for Fabregas on goal #3 for Adriano

Hmm, I came here to get my daily dose of Diving Barca players. Couldn't find any....this time..

how's that blind hate working for ya?

Haha he didn't see enough diving from hazard. and since Drogba left his club, he miss those spectacular dives!
@ DenisT: Drogba plays now for a chinese club... Go and find your diving hero!

Busquets was superb in his dive on Fabregas' goal. Quality.
The race to the title is well over nw... RM won't be able to catch Barcelona.. They're destroying every team in their way in La Liga..
Best team in Europe this year EASILY but I do remember there being like a 10 point gap between 1st and second towards the end of the season and Madrid caught up and won the Liga. Never say never. Madrid have a deeper squad and that could be a big factor in the final stretch of the season.
Yeah, Thats what i'm worried about...
As the season gets past december, Champions league will get more challenging and that will affect the gap in the league race.
The 10 point gap was with Madrid on top, Barcelona almost caught up, but the defeat at camp nou was fatal...11 points is not all that, so will see.

i dont think real can able to recover..if it was last year barca, then i wud say yes..but this is insane team..this team can easily distry anyteam even without messi..so la liga is already over in my view..
fabregas needs a shave.

Yes, glad someone's brought this up. When he played that amazing pass to Adriano I was like "damn, I'm gonna go on Footytube tomorrow and talk about his beard".
+5
Seriously, who cares about a players hairstyle or facial hair?? In other news, Messi is still lacking a right foot.
I think Fabregas beard looks awesome I really hope he keeps it. Reminds me of Leonidas for some reason.

Also I think Messi has a great right foot. He is just so used to going to his left that hes almost programmed his moves to get passed defenders and end up with a left foot shot. Hejust doesn't think about taking it with the right. When he does though take a look at that second goal...
elmenalista suckssss lol just as xtiANO does haha they didn't get destroyed because they were playing super defensive, so don't be an ediot and say stupid things, till you guys don't get Higuain you'll be suffering a bit hehe
Adriano's goal, as team strategy , is the best of the season by far.
I am not a fan, but FC Barcelona makes people love football!
Cheers!

Yeah, that was my favorite goal too. Such a great pass to make it happen too.
i admire bilbao for only signing local players and keeping a sense of pride. but if you look at barca, just about all their stars came through la masia, whether or not they're catalunyan. maybe time for their youth academy to start scouting elsewhere, but i gotta hope they don't start buying everyone because their one of the only clubs that has that value.

Agreed. I actually admire the competitiveness of Athletic, since even as a region in Spain, the Basque Country is really small, it's like 2 million people. That would be like Barcelona only signing footballers from the CITY of Barcelona, not Catalunya, let alone scouting talent in the rest of Spain, let alone Argentina.

Or imagine Real Madrid only signing footballers from one half of the city of Madrid. Pretty sobering.

- This was as good as the very peak of the Guardiola era. If they can keep THIS up, there's no catching up with Barça this season. Let's see.

- Cesc's pass to Adriano was incredible. Good finish too, goal of the week for me. Nice to see Piqué score and almost get an assist, too. I hope Pedro can get back to scoring, he puts in some real hard work there (and that back heel was sweeet), he just can't seem to find the target.

- Athletic is a bit of a sad story. What's going on there? They have lost the plot. Even if Barcelona were absolutely brilliant yesterday (they were), this is not the team that schooled Manchester United and got to the Europa League final.

perhaps Bielsa philosophy may prove too intense for teams?
I mean, seriously, last year, they were f*cking lions! and played their guts out. It's sad that they aren't doing well.
Everything about the Adriano goal was just amazing, from the set up to the finish.

While it is true Iniesta and Xavi and the whole barcelona is exceptional players, I can't stop being mesmerized how special is Messi, for every touch he gets, he always draws the attention of 4 , 5 defenders trying to stifle him, and he still finds ways to score or assist. No other player on the planet has ever had that type of defending around him, and sometimes I wonder if the other barca players are not at fault for not scoring more. he draws half of the defense to him , I'm still surprised he can find air to breath, let alone make plays. That said, out of mercy and compassion I would love to see the Ballon d'or go to other deserving players namely Iniesta or Casillas. They have been consistently great.
+1
casillas was not nominated in the last three spot..and mercy and compassion is not a criteria for the ballon world best player performance is and messi deserves it when he continues to perform like this..
It's really sometimes unbelievable that Barcelona doesn't win every single game by at least 5. They are just so good.

I admit Messi is amazing, he is the best. But it is not about Messi only. it is about Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas also. I mean, any Barca player could have scored Messi's 1st goal. They are all equally good at that. To me, that goal is not special, but the pass is special. I think, excessive Messi dependence will hurt us, as was last season. We need goals from other strikers also.
