Wow what a game by Xavi and Sanchez although I still don't think it was a Penalty on Iniesta but either way they won. Can't wait for el Classico tomorrow hopefully it's a good game.

Hey, I think you mean today? The game is today, Wednesday - so don't you miss it!
they could only win the game becouse of red card...
and what i hate about spanish footboll they dive a LOT!
stop diving... barca don't need diving they are the best team in the world...
Lol Iniesta: Dont do Cruijff turns unless you are Cruijff, or at least till you have godly perception of space behind you.
He did successfully turn. In fact, Iniesta's signature move is his turn using the outside of his right foot.

And if you think Iniesta doesn't have "Godly" perception of space around him, you haven't been watching him play.

love fabregas, xavi, iniesta and messi playing together. Beautiful passing football. Opening up the wing channels with their fluent passing.. The penalty was rubbish, the defender tried to move their arm away, what more can he do... In iniesta case, it was silly of him to fall down after a minimal contact. Barca dont need a penalty and silly dives to win a game. They too imba.
it was a shot toward the goal, he moved to the ball and he touched the ball with his arm so its penalty, if he moves to the ball then he should get it with chest but that was a penalty and even his reaction wasnt that dramaticly so he knew it was a penalty.
Yeah... harsh call, but he did move toward the ball even though he was moving his hands away. He clearly didn't think it would hit his arm. Bad luck...
I f*****g hate Rutube!!!!!

me too
Me too!!!
Makes you wonder - where are the old beautiful 20-minutes-something dailymotion highlights!
Yeah, looked like a penalty to me. I suspect that the ref gave Iniesta a yellow card, not for diving, but for his reaction to not getting a penalty. That's what it looks like to me anyway.

Iniesta raised his hand before he fell down ,and now I understand why people are complaining.

Look he could of done the macarena with his hands for all I care, the matter of the fact is that he was obstructed, I've seen penalties been given for a lot less, and example is dyer goin down in the box against arsenal this weekend, there was very little contact by ramsey, but the ref gave the peno. I this case Iniesta was caluclatingly obstructed by the betis player, but hey it dosen't matter, he got a yellow card, when ye should of been given a peno.
There was a minimal contact=>Iniesta realize the contact and let himself fall. The scene looks strange to me. I'm not sure it was a dive, but i'm sure it was no penalty

Seriously if we start to give a foul for every minimal contact then we have 10 penalties per match and a non-contact game.

He got hit in the knee. it was a clear penalty. the ref knew it, as he hesitated and all the commentators and match analysts said it was a penalty. Iniesta is appealing the yellow card and wishes for it to be removed, as he did not dive. our opinions don't matter

I agree with Jackie and Robbery. First, when you raise your hands before you even go down after the challenge, its obvious you were looking for a penalty, you couldnt react that fast if you werent expecting to go down. Its a silly tactic as most refs are more likely to call a penalty if you try and continue play instead of instantly looking at the ref for a call. Barca play superficial football, and they were playing an arrogant and lazy game and it caught up with them and they were desperate for a goal. The contact was absolutely not enough to warrant a penalty. He kicked across his shins, not into them. Most refs won't call that, especially compiled with the fact that he was looking for a penalty.

St1or, if our opinions don't matter, why comment then?

torres got his knee knocked. he fell and was booked for simulation.
What I meant was, when the people who are credible say it was a penalty and not a dive, our opinions don't really matter. He got kicked above his knee and there were many times in the game where there was contact made against him in the game and he did not go down
The people who are credible aren't allowed to come right out and say the ref was wrong. Commentators are the worst offenders.
Don't look at the hands--look at the feet. He quite clearly plants his feet and then dives. The Scottish commentator for Setanta is hilarious to listen to, btw. He wants to have Barca's baby.

This coming from a huge fan of Barça. But yeah, Iniesta dived. If you have 100% integrity as a player, you'll stay on your feet if you can.
lol at the goalie flopping around when he got scored on.

it's frustrating playing the best team in the world and putting up such a good performance, only to be beat like that! I feel for the Betis goal keeper! they had a fantastic game otherwise
Some people take their football FAR to seriously on this website...

So would you, if ye have to spend most of your time on it defending your team from trollers calling them divers and cheats, and act like the teams they support are perfect little angels, who are honest with lots of integrity, we should be able to come and be honest, but it gets ridiculous when people deny wants in front of them, because all they wanna do is hate on another team. I myself as a long standing barca fan have given madrid plenty of credit this season, so no need for it really.
I watched the game with English Commentary (Al-Jazeera Sports). Then watched the post match review in Spanish due to copyright infringement issues and also in today's newspaper the commentators are saying that foul on Iniesta was a clear penalty.

I don't why you guys think that Iniesta has not been fouled or made a most of it when every commentator and football pundit saying in favor of him.

Anyway a very thrilling match and this game proves another aspect that Barca CAN be beaten when their opponent play in the same style as they play. So Mourihno tactics of 'Parking a Bus' is useless.

Damn how did the ref miss that contact on Iniesta? He had every right to dive after that dude kicked him in the thigh.

Abidal could've defended better on the first goal...both him ans macherano seemed to be unaware...

I dont think Abidal made a mistake there. He was well positioned to play Rubin Castro Offside but Mascherano had actually played him on. But in the second Yes, i agree with you, entire Barca defense split up.
