Why is Ronaldo more complete than Messi ? Messi scores more goals and makes more assists every year. Last year his success ratio from free kicks was probably better than Ronaldo's and he scored more goals with his weaker foot. They are both midfielders and play in an equally advanced position. I don't understand why Ronaldo is more complete, when it seems to me that Messi does everything better except long shots and long-range free kicks .

I think Messi is better in one-on-one situations so Messi is the best overall. Messi goes past players more easily than Ronaldo does. It's a tight comparison because Ronaldo is a ridiculous player, but Messi is the top magician.
