Messi's freekick just opened up the next level of difficulty for freekicks. An inward curve from above to the far post? That's unheard of
Reminiscing about those cheeky Henry freekicks. Messi is still adding more to his game, like he needs to ..
Regardless of circumstances, still a great goal by Messi!
Messi haters. You guys are so ignorant. The ref was standing right by the freekick, he knows the rules, hes a professional. If you guys didnt know, what messi did is legit and allowed, barca would only need to wait for the whistle if xavi or messi requested the wall to be moved back
that is what the commentator said. So, the referee, a professional saw it, the commentator said it, but the messi haters just cant stand seeing messi succeed. Go f**k yourselves.

Messi haters = people who doesn't like football

LMAO @ Messi = Football
Every time they say Busquet there is a foul lol. But great free kick form Messi. too bad i dont get to see him every day in EPL. hopefully one day =)
Because he does get fouled. I think someone told him to stop diving, he doesn't do it as much, thank god.

Funny how instead of cherishing and admiring the stunning winning free-kick by Messi Haters hate

its clear to see how relieved Puyol was after they defended the 2-1 lead. a draw and it'd be 4 games away from Madrid. but seeing Busquet's totally intentional handball i guess it should've been a draw.
Yup, he intentionally handled the ball straight to the Athletico player.
JRaty come on, he definitely handled that ball intentionally, but having said that Barca did deserve the win overall and Messi's disallowed goal followed by a yellow card was harsh

Another reason why Busquets is my least favorite player in the world

I'm sorry...but i just watch Tottenham's match, and i'd have to say i'm sure i saw Bale throw himself in the area didn't he....mmmm, a player in the EPL diving? surely not....

I hope Arsenal does well this year, probably my favourire team in the EPL. Year after year coming up with new players, not easy to keep up at the top

6:00 - Puyol, "Dammit I should have stayed retired."
I don't think Puyol ever retired...
+2
Really? I thought he went into retirement and then came out of it. Maybe it was a heavenly dream that I had. My bad.
no he was injured
I remember henry doing a similar thing against Chelsea a few years back LOL.
+1
yea I remember that goal :P
don't think if thibat was gonna save it anyway but man, valdes is some keeper.... busquets big-time needs to stop playing it dirty and finally, abidal and puyol should already hang up their boots now
+2
Abidal and Puyol are on fire...scholes and giggs should hang up their boots
+3
Sassya....you don't know what you are talking about
surely scholes... but giggs, giggs has another 10 years left in him.
Looked like a great game, Messi got unlucky with the hand ball cancelled goal in first half that would have being sweet, Falcao had nice finish for Atletico Madrid, would have being nice if they tied, but what a goal by Messi at end, beauty curve, goalie wasn't ready.
the referee's in Spain are crazy, what a shall is 12 yellow card in one match, and this is norm in Spain
what a cheating from Messi
Total cheating. You can't cheat a free kick like that... If he cheated the ref would've seen it and sent Messi off for his second yellow quite obviously. The ref allowed Messi to kick whenever..
This i another example how the refs support you!
No, it's just another example of how the refs actually know the rules of the sport. Unless the team that has been awarded the foul asks for the wall to be moved, they're allowed to take the free-kick when they want. Now, Ramos elbowing someone in the face, and getting away unscratched, is clearly against the rules, and can be seen as favoritism.

Bravo JRaty. Janco...you have some nerve talking about refs. I don't know how many games on the row the ref has made "mistakes" on Madrid's favour...
