Raul = immortal class
The Europa League is immensely entertaining, and does not get the credit it deserves. I think to make it interesting they should give the semi finalists automatic Champions League spots to make the EL more enticing.

that's actually a very good idea
True mate Europa league much for entertaining keeps me on the edge of the sofa...each team giving the heart out to win and get to next round and your idea sounds interesting
Spain are dominating football
It might have ended in a draw but it was a perfect game. Both teams played their heart out. Football was elevated to where it belongs.
pity as it gets elevated U bring it back down below pitch level with all the shitty incidents that plagues ur team.
You bitch about it as if I have control over it. Let me remind you I am a spectator commenting on the different aspects of the game. At least engage with me. Make this a worthwhile discussion. Don't just nag about it like a 8 year old. Gosh, my elementary schools students can make a more nuanced contribution than your nagging rant.

And before you star pointing the finger at Barcelona of its "shitty incidents", as a supposed Madrid supporter, have one hard cold look in the mirror. RM has also indulged in their fair share of "shitty incidents". If you find this hard to accept, then you must be just another bandwagon Madrid fan.

For now, Ill just take the comment from whom its coming from Another run of the mill tone deaf supporter (in this case Real Madrid) with a case of misplaced anger.

Ciao.

@Pedmar

Every team has its share of "shitty incidents."
I hate to tell you, but even Real does.
Get over it.
we are unlucky to meet bilbao so early

bilbao was just on fire, they will win the cup!
I think the Europa is under-rated and unfairly is riduculed. It's a great competition.

Completely agree. Its ironic how certain teams s**t on it yet get eliminated early in the knock out rounds. Which comes to show that even though a team maybe champion of their league, it is irrelevant when the two sides meet. All of it is played in each match.
@AntiFutbol

I think it really comes down to the fact that these certain teams (fan of one, guilty as charged) have been playing in the UCL for so long that they've become alienated to the realities of Europa. Complacency, disappointment, laziness all work their way in.
Well said Monkey. I am United supporter, and it was directly directed at them. But also, to be fair to united, the injuries have plagued them all year they have done greatly to come from 6 points under city to 5 points over.

I bet your heart was torn during last year's CL final ;)
Either that or you were absolutely jubilant, since your team would've won either way ;)
It was hard to support either side. So i just went to the pub with a neutral shirt ready to watch an amazing match. I did and the better side won. Such is foot ball.
I guess it's better than me. After 90 minutes I had a steak dinner with the most sorry look on my face. We'll see what happens after United rebuilds in the next few years though. And when Messi starts aging, although now I've come to believe it's impossible for him to grow old.
Good games both in Germany and Spain, it's a shame these two teams didn't meet in the final.

Raul' still doing his thing.

Nice goals but many keeper mistakes
In all honestly Bilbao deserved to go through Schalke never gave up and at least they tried. I really hope to see both teams in the Champions League next year although it might be a bit harder for Bilbao but they play great football. And Raul is my idol, one of the best strikers of all time.
