This was incredible to watch and Bielsa is without a doubt one of the top managers in the world. His Chile side were also amazing to watch in the last World Cup.
Credit to Rooney's goal, that one was also a great goal.
And Llorente's goal was just top class...I know from experience that those types of shots where the ball drops from over your shoulder are very hard to hit well.
The fact is that La Liga has higher quality players, higher quality teams and thus is better. The fact that Barca & Real dominate it doesn't mean it's rubbish. It just means that these two are by far and away the two best clubs on the planet. They would be just as dominant in this year's EPL.

This team has the same style as Barca
a "cold rainy night in Stoke". But valencia already busted that myth. So its mythbusted
I think this should of been ManU's approach the first game but then again they would still have been precarious in Midfield.
What I think was the key for Bilbao is how Bielsa played both Javi Martines and Iker Muniain. While Muniain played a classic Media- Punta, leading that creative thrust at 3/4 of the pitch, Javi Martinez acted like a hybrid of a classic holding midfield/ but then dropped back to form a 4- men line when they felt pressured by a united attack. A false #4?
Iker Muniain is a star in the making. That boy has a bright future ahead of him. Both Rooney's and Llorentes goal were a thing beauty.
Anyways...good game. Feel bad for united but they deserved this season European exit. Brilliant Bilbao for the Cup!
