coool ........being a united fan i love Villa toooo......
I DONT THINK POMPY WILL WIN A GAME FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR..LOL
Both goalies played very well.
goal well taken by agbonlahor
poor anticipation by tal ben haim;
ooh dear.....:(
James Milner 33 min.(pen)

Gabriel Agbonlahor 41 min.

Pompey done: Cardiff next!

Bring it on! :)
Aston is so good today and the deserve the tree points :)
A few concerns, although Villa won the game at a canter. They should have kicked on and won by 4-5 clear goals. Portsmouth are a very poor team.

Yesterday I think Petrov did well to get forward in order to win Villa the penalty, apart from this, I think that he was again very mediocre, and simply does not fit in with the 4-4-2 system, Villa are crying out for an attacking midfielder and must buy some real quality for this area come Jan. Cuellar to me at right back is less than convincing and really does not have the pace to push forward enough to support Millner when they are attacking, I would rather see Young fill this position.

Villa are null and void of ideas when it comes to the space in front of the 18yd box, and it is time that we started to exploit this space, the movement off the ball is on many occasions non existant. Sidwell today again vanished.

They are also to predictable in our attacks/ corners and Free kicks.

As for Heskey, well it looks like Mon is going to persevere with his boy, and although he was only on for a few minutes today, he showed very little again and I think come Jan, Mon needs to get rid of him as well.

1. Luke Young is still recovering from injury.
2. Today was the first game where we started with a 4-4-2 formation, its usually 4-5-1 with gabby on his own, so give us a chance mate.
3. A rant like that makes me think your a villain in disguise? or still a tad bitter about the disaster you had at Anfield?

At the end of the day mate we're off to a flyer and confidence has sprung into players like nobodys business! Thats all that matters at the moment. Go on you have a nice weekend, theres a good lad!
OMG......portsmouth and David James what happened????????
you ditch that many players and shake up formations on top of a completely uninspired manager, youre in the right ballpark
again! ben-haim, every striker's favorite whipping boy! haha but seriously, portsmouth are in trouble. but on a positive note, the quality of this video is immense! you're a legend f54
Yea, fred54 rules!!!!!!!!
Belhadj is poor, he is just poorly disciplined, and poor marking he has. Portsmouth need to buy more players during the winter transfer if not they would relegate.
who wants to play in portsmouth team nowadays !
I am very happy for aston villa and has developed a very good football
great performamce by aston villa really poor performance by portsmouth even with all that money still will be in the bottom half
Agbonlahor is a strong striker!
Whenever he plays, Aston Villa are a great threat to the opponents~
He has really strengthened up over the summer, and it's paying off!!
