well there were improvements in the second half!
I think it's clear as day that Liverpool has already decided to forgo winning this match for 2 reasons: 1) avoiding the fixture-messing Euro Cup and 2) getting on Aston Villa's good books.

Now to get that Ashley Young in a Liverpool kit hmm...
suarez.... so good. better then torres for sure.

Yes, he works well with us to be honest :P
and 2 think torres torres went to chelsea for 50 mil, and david luiz went for half that, is a defender, and yet has managed 2 score more goals.....jeez.
im so dissapointed. i expected a win!!! raul should have kicked a low ball instead of just kicking it in front of friedel's face. *sigh* lets do better next season
good run for liverpool to get 5th that was really fun to watch, but they kinda sucked last two weeks. congrats on your finish tho
6th**

my bad
Slightly disappointing end to the season,I know the Europa league isn't amazing but just to qualify after such a tough season would have been a great achievement.Hope they make some good signings.
Lets forget about the past and focus on the the future
Good for Aston Villa, good last game of season, to end the season with a win, very nice finish by Downing, good for them, and i mean even though liverpool looked good in those jersey's, but what a close chance by Miereles, Freidel made a great save, even if the defender made contact, was great chance, good stuff
The main question is.... Did Liverpool even want to win this game?
Seemed to me like they were a snake playing with a mouse. It looked like they didnt even want to score goals... I really think these last two weeks they have been trying to stay away from Europa... 6th is good enough to compete with Man U and the others in EPL ONLY next season.
Europa League is very good, and it's still a fun competition even though it's 2nd biggest. Stop saying it's a blessing in disguise to not get to the Europa League, I would be thrilled is Spurs win it or even go in the last 8 of the Europa League

Well done not to end fifth! Who wants to see Liverpool losing against some little clubs in the Europa League because we play with Super-Ngog and Kyrgiakos?

I would enjoy Liverpool in the Europa League if they would want to win it! But with taking ervery game there as if it were a friendly match I rather like Liverpool finishing sixth!

Sadly I couldn't watch the game yesterday but it maybe wasn't even worth it... Though I would have watched it only because of that Suarez touch were he let two Villa defenders slide behind the line just to give the ball to Meireles who manages it not to hammer it home...

The banhammer strikes! Hooray!!!
lookin forward to a busy offseason. hopefully we'll sign downing or some other class player. Great finish to the end of the season for both teams - obvious for Aston Villa, and for Liverpool, a blessing in disguise. It's been mentioned already about the Europa League, but also because we have so much hope and expectation for next season. If we don't start next season like we did this one, then we'll for sure be in top 4!
