torres is waking up in his chelsea uniform!
+1
wooohhooo torres with his deadly first touch!
London clubs better step it up, those Manchester boys are looking fierce.

Shey Given is world class and he deserves a better team than Aston Villa

Agreed mate
i wish arsenal would have taken care of that years ago.
I agree too he plays brilliantly for Ireland. At least he will get playing time this year, rather than backing up for Hart.
I definitely think it's time for Drogba to step down. The dude's 33, and Chelsea need a better guy to play next to Torres. They should have landed Aguero, now maybe they can get Mata.
you must be out of your mind. obv you didnt watch the champions league match against ManU when Drogba was the single most dangerous player wearing a chelsea kit. I'd gladly keep him for 2 more years. Moreso, when we got Drogba, we didnt have to get other players to accomodate him. the dude was beasting regardless who was beside him

haha yeh bro...a better guy to play next to torres? haha drogba is better than torres and more in-favour with the manager...maybe they need a better guy to play next to drogba

Maybe I misspoke. Didn't mean to say Torres was better than Drogba. I also think that's not true. What I meant was that I don't think Drogba is going to be as awesome this season as he was when he first came to Chelsea, and they should start thinking about the future, because Torres isn't showing signs that he can be dominant like Drogba in a team that isn't built around him like Benitez's Liverpool was. That means it might be a good idea to bring another young supporting forward in right about now, so that you have an option for growth.

That's what I meant.
you're talking out of your arse mate, drogba is one of the most proven and consistent strikers in the prem. definately got at least 2 more years in him
I can't think of a keeper who makes more spectacular saves than Shay Given.

Despite conceding, Given's amazing!

Torres' goal was "chamba"
Chamba? More of skill.
nice goal by torres
Chelsea!!!! So excited for season to start, goal from McEachren, and Torres, what a finish and confidence booster for Torres, great stuff, Go Chelsea!

i love how torres and drogba are friends now

Hong Kong
I'm so glad that Given is given (no pun intended) chance to play first team football again. I believe he will do very well. And I'm happy for Torres too. He deserve to score goals IMO.
+2
poor shay, first goal 3rd attempt, second, didn't look intentional from Malouda and sweet finish.
