Gervinho still seems to me like the Impact player we have always missed since Pires + Overmars who ghost past defenders at will.
Udinese still have a competitive squad despite loss of key players. Armero looks like a really promising player
Glad to see Arsenal in CL

Good job boys. didnt start too good but got it together and won. we still need to work on something but good job on the win.

i thought they did well offensively in the beginning (and throughout) but not as good defensively. that's what persistence will give you in the end though...W's

if only arsenal started with sceznsy a while back. i know he is only 21, but still, it would have been better than alumina. good win for arsenal, huge morale boost. and theo walcott should play more as a center forward than a winger. he can cross for his life, but he is a natural goal scorer, wenger should try it out.
+1
He does try it out, and it works quite well. I think you the best thing to do is to put Walcott as winger at the start and allow him to switch with RvP during the game. I think it would put the defenders in some trouble too, not always facing the same opponent through out the game

The great szeszny does it again.

arsenal solve a problem then creates another in there team...
Wenger needs to spend some of that cash that's buring a hole in his pocket! Buy a good striker already!
+1
He wont do that, because its Wanger.

I'm wondering though, how long are people going to keep falling for his overused excuse "we have a very young team,"or supporters excuse that "these are only kids and next season is ours."
Arsenal will never win anything if they keep selling their developed talents.
Wanger needs to buy some seasoned players that know how to play ball.

This was a good game and it could have been lost if the penalty was scored.

Now, on to the real problem, Arsenal. This game showed that Arsenal are going to be a very easy team for anyone stronger that comes along, ea Liverpool in the league, or the group stages in CL. For gods sake they just made $35 from Cesc, $25 from Nasri, and $25 mil for going through they need to spend most of that to bring in two defenders two strong midfielders because two very good ones left, and one attacker.

BTW whatever happen to chamakh

really was a solid game. di natale needs help up top, both sides were able to expose the defensive weaknesses of the other, and in my opinion gervinho gets man of the match honors. constantly pushing up field he looked like he has been with arsenal for much longer than he has. i really like the upside of this arsenal squad
Walcott is starting to be a deadly finisher
Sad to see Di Natale missing that penalty, but his first goal was stellar

szeszny is a beast..and its good to see gervinho settling in as well

Walcott finish was also as cold as ice

glad to see Arsenal progress. CL wouldn't be the same without them. Not taking anything away from Udinese though. They put in a fantastic effort. The people who voted Udinese as rubbish were watching a different game.

on a side note, I think Arsenal finally have an awesome goal keeper. What a penalty save. Awesome stuff.
