arsenal nickname is the arseses
how was it not a bendtner's goal? if a player shoot and the goalkeeper manage to at least touch the ball, does it make it the goalkeeper's own goal?
Even though i hate to say this sometimes but this was well played by Arsenal. Their technical game seems to be improving. But hopefully United will put them back in their place :)
Arsenal did not play great, but they still deserved to win.
Too bad that they have lost Nasri to injury who was on fire, but Arsenal
have a huge squad and has many talented players, that is why they never
put their chances on one player..as some people suggest.
Just more reasons to hate Arsenal. Bendther is a complete fool, the guy as a winger is a joke. He has no touch and wastes so many chances. He did score, but that deflection was a nice bonus. Arsenal's back four continues to struggle, with Sequillici really having a bad year. That red card was so unnecessary and lazy. Huddersfield really came to play and had some great chances. Arsenal won it in the end, with Fabregas being the hero. But with Nasri hurt, their hopes against Barca is even more slimmer. With an average back four, then Nasri arguably the best player in the EPL this season it's going to be tough. Alumina had a good performance though.
Hey why don't you look at the league table you scumbag

f**k tottenham. look at the league table idiot
Alright believe it or not, I would say this anywhere else. Arsenal is very talented, I would kill for players like Nasri, Fabregas, Wilshere, and Van Persie. Van Persie is the kind of striker that I would love on Tottenham and he misses so many chances but is so dangerous ( Chamakah and Bendther sorry not impressed). The back four is very shaky, I would take Dawson, Kaboul, heck even Gallas over any of your centerbacks. I really like Kieran Gibbs, but other than that back four isn't that great ( Sagna is decent but doesn't wow me although I take him any day over Al shithead Hutton).

I am telling you the truth, I rather have Arsenal win the title over Man Utd or City. I can't stand Man City over any team with them buying players like nothing. They are bunch of assholes and I was so happy when Arsenal beat them 3-1 and should have beat them but drawed 0-0 ( Man City stood no chance that game but somehow tied it reminded me of Tottenham Man City on opening day). Man Utd hate them with passion, so with Tottenham out of the title race I wouldn't mind seeing Arsenal win it. I already count Chelsea out tbh.
Arsenal is in the 5th round, thats all that really matters to wenger and the team. Benthner have scored in his last 2 starts for the club and won a penalty in this game ( fairly or unfairly), that makes him a asset to the club. Fab is the best midfielder in the EPL. Nasri- recover soon dude
FIFA is the one to blame, they remade the rules and now it's become the Acting in the box competition, nowadays the player can get a penalty whenever, he can shoot the defender's hand from point blank and get a penalty or he can wait in the box for a slight touch and make a fall like the defender cut his legs, i am sorry but this became nature of the game, i wonder what's next / you can't touch him when he doesn't have the ball or you must stand three feet from the keeper when there's a freekick or a corner
i guess arsenal are paying the refs and the fa!!!
You must know all about it look at the team ur supporting...i still remember reading an article on goal.com Ferguson telling Rooney don't worry rooney the game won't end till we score.. Before blaming arsenal for paying the refs, I would look at manchestur

this is the crap every asenal fan was cryin about when berba was awarded a pk against liverpool...i am not blaming arsenal this is the kinda thing that happens in football gooner itz just a taste of your own medicine..
What worries me is that this game shows how special Fabregas is for this club. Before his sub, Arsenal were clumsy and very poor. His sub changed the all game and gave confidence to Arsenal side.

I know that the emergence of Wilshere, the maturation of Nasri, make some fans think that Arsenal could do without him next season. I am not so sure about that...

Vermaelen out, Nasri out maybe during the Everton game Fabregas or van persie will get injured as well then our season will start crumbling... why didnt wenger start Rosicky instead??? We got alot of important matches ahead and we cant afford stupid injuries that could have been avoided like this one.. hopefully Nasri is fully fit for the second leg against Barca
rosicky was sick but still on the bench, he didnt want to risk that. But it backfired..oh well.
nasri wont be fit for the barca game wenger said
you people dont have a chance with nasri or not
@ Reddevilz306 yes he wont be fit for the first leg but he should be fit for the second @Martinify maybe you're right but hey at least we're the in the CL and not out yet while u guys with all your mllions couldnt even make it and would prolly miss out again this season. So if im gonna take any consolation from this it would be that Man Shitty will forever be behind arsenal sniffing our butt just like you guys are doing right now in the premier league

@bryant4real dude dont get offended i wanted him to play as well itz just sad that hez missing the first leg
The Gunners got lucky there. That was not a penalty. Only too bad that they all do that nowadays. Quick recovery, Nasri.

that game was one of the best piece of theater i saw in a long time. i really don't know who the better actress was, everyone put on such a great performance. it's unfortunate that one of the "main stars" got injured; i think he's an amazing talent. definitely not one of their better games, but arsenal grinded it out. hope for a speedy recovery.
To all of you complaining abt the penalty.. boo-hoo.. it was a penalty.. Sir Alex said in an interview a couple of years ago that if there is contact in the box but not hard enough to make the players fallover then he asks them to dive and win a penalty. Defenders have to be careful in the box in the modern game and Bendy took full advantage of this.. great presence of mind shown there.. Thats how all the big teams play now..

It was not a dive.. there was contact..

That's what's ruining football..

yea ideally everyone should be honest. But if one team starts playing that trick then its not fair on the honest team. So it becomes fair for everyone to use that trick when they can. That is football now. Gotta deal with it.

Benny destroyed Fabs brilliant pass with that flop,

im sry i know it made us win but i hate diving, Hard to watch when grown men are playing with plenty of physic, it looks ridiculous sometimes

Well said.
if you were on the field and you found an opportunity to score a goal, you would take it. When you dive, your either rewarded or punished..so it balances out in the end.
It has started, the descent to downfall, could Nasri start the domino effect of injuries Arsenal keep suffering during this time of the season.
yes, it has started raining again. i fear the worst now. and i also hope wenger will not ruin our chance this year again by his stubborness to sign a good centre back. what the hell is he keeping the money for? he said he can't find a defender that will bolster our team in the whole of europe. what a ridiculous statement. is he insinuating that lame squillaci, Djourou and kosh are the best center half in the world. Every other team bolstered their squad, but wenger has again put money over our trophy drought. let see how he copes now that the rain has begun.
