I had the feeling argentina didn't put much effort into the game, after having that 1 goal they simply relaxed.

This was a good game. But not as good as i thought it would be.

Argentina showed an average performance i will say. Comparing to the level they are. It maybe because it was the first match. Messi did try to make something but didnt work. In my opinion Maradona should have played Messi on the Right Wing, Tevel on the Left and Higuain as the striker. Veron and DeMaria in the Center and Mascharano in his original position, they could have played better. A more attacking game. Because Messi and Tevez need to run with the ball more. Atleast most of the time.

Nigeria did a pretty good job in defending and stopping the strong attack force Argentina had even though they lost the game.
