Argentina defence was great in this game especially Paraguay wasn't letting up because Paraguay had to win this game or even get a tie to have a mathematical chance of qualifying they're second to bottom of the table, Paraguay was attacking Argentina from the get go, with Zableta and Colocini injured Argentina had to make changes in the back.

lets not compare messi and ronaldo `s free kicks here, kid just started getting 1 or 2 goals right lol , and he is already better? lol relax, ronaldo(no hate on messi ) but i`d still ronaldos is way better,at least in free kicks, his technique , power,still has been lethal, and u can check his career highlights of free goals if u doubt abt it but yh messi is improving for sure, this free kick and one vs real were both top

Let's be realistic here. CRonaldo are better than Messi at certain things (heading, long shots) but FK is definitely not one of them. CR's FK accuracy is CRAP. CRAP. CRAP. Messi's FKs have improved tremendously and are now usually on target. CR still goes for the spectacular so probably 1 in 10 shots is on target. (But sure, when they go in, they're pretty awesome.)

So yeah. Messi is better than CR at FK. And when I say 'better', I mean better accuracy and goals/attempts ratio.

FK master is still Juninho P!

Agree messi's improvement from a dead ball is incredible over the past 2 seasons and who knows if he keeps improving he could end up being on of the great free kick takers in football....another checkpoint on his CV i suppose :P
