nice to see, I like Argentina a bit, cool seeing Aguero, Messi and higuain play together here, nice work for Messi's first goal and then Switzerland had a pretty nice finish, but Messi's 2nd of game was fabulous have chip off cross bar, was great and then he adds a nice penalty for hatrick, cool to see.

Argentina looked pretty dreadful; no disrespect to the Swiss, but against better opposition they would have lost.
As for Messis team mates, they look completely lost on the field; it's as if they are waiting for him to perform a miracle

and he did.....

luck for argentina.. switzerland could have easily won if only they converted a few of the 235235 chances
i think youre exaggerating just a little bit ;)
To be honest Argentina have messi to thank for this win and a lot of others, through his assists and so on. Messi played up front in this game, instead of behind the strikers as he usually does, and he scored a hat-trick, if Argentina could find a really creative midfielder, messi would bang in plenty of goals. I hope he wins a world cup one day because I think he deserves it.

Argentina needs Requielme in midfield.

wow switzerland played really well

I would have liked to see Lamela out there to see what kind of chemistry and creativity he could bring the squad.

instead a wasted talent like Sosa is playing

messi always needs xavi and iniesta to score...

- actually, the other way round, its xavi and iniesta that needs messi to score ;) to be fair to messi, he scores with or without xavi and iniesta, and he creates. so that puts xavi + iniesta doesnt equal to messi but messi = xavi + iniesta. think about it ;P

lucky win for argentina. young swiss were gooooooood. still happy for messi for scoring his first hat-trick for the gauchos even though it had to be against the swiss. ciao

Marcello Lippi: "The best? Messi"
FYI Xavi & Iniesta were wearing the Hollow Man suit in this match. Cheating Spaniards...thought they could fool me ;)
Argentina didn't play, Messi played

Aguero and Messi together up front will come good for Argentina! Within the next two years we'll see a new great Argentinian team, in time for the World Cup!

I'd say the teams were at equilibrium until the last 15 mins where the Argies pressured the Swiss prolifically.

Messi only found Aguero as his helper. Argentina really needs Aimar.
Please bring him back Coach!
