i thought Algeria played a much better game than Slovenia and Slovenia were very lucky to be up a man AND to get that goal. Algeria had many more quality chances. The US and England will have a much harder time dispatching of them than Slovenia

I didn't find the match riveting but I havent been impressed by anyone yet. I would have been impresed by germany but I'm Australian and I woke up at 4 am to watch that.
Very happy for Serbia too - I hope they step up in thier next two matches and all the americans and brits who sure of beating them get a nasty surprise. Good win guys well played.

What do you have in mind? Should the teams just resign in the qualifications? Should the referees make sure only interesting teems advance or should worldcup teems be set by a televote?

Give them a break. For Slovenia it was a first ever victory on WC and Algeria havent been on one for decades. I look forward to the rest of the matches in the group.

unless ur a fan of either slovenia n algeria u'll find this match was pretty boring...thts whut im trying to say,just boring n would ave been better if differrnt team were on the pitch...will u think these kind of match will be remmber...?..

Actually I am a fan of Slovenia; however, I agree with you - the match was boring and of low quality.

My point is: this two teems won the second round of qualification so in my mind this is better than if Russia would play an interesting match with Egypt. Probably I am naive, but for me deserving to play on WC means wining the right matches in qualifing games, not having stars from premier league in the team.

And by the way, unless you are an England supporter, the far most interesting and memorable thing from England - US match was Green's blunder. I dont think anyone will remember that game in 10 years either. But I freely admit the quality was higher.

nahh im not an england supprter...just love thier league thts all and yes no one will remmber that mtch,but since when england do well in any turnament they competing in..?..lol never..without a single doubt these two team deserve to be here...but as a neutral i believe most of genuine football fans who cares bout the world cup would love to see some intresting match...n please forgive me for disrespecting ur country..prolly im putting high hopes in these match by wanting them to play like those german,spain,brazil or holland without realize tht they dont posses intresting individuals like those strong country have...btw congratulation for ur 1st win..
