Inter never should have let go IBR.......dam you E'TO
If Ibra didn't leave Inter would not have won CL. Eto'o sacrificed and gave it his all for the team. Ibra is good but he makes the team depend on him for success.
El Clasicois not a derby,it`s madrid vs barcelona not a city rivals derby.

Would love to see Sneijder in a United shirt soon:)
i'd love that too becuz that way inter will start playing in europa leage
all it does is decrease value of italina football, who wants to watch pandev?
peace, love and footy....

Prince celebration at the end there was gayyy, punching the air? wtf. hes a soccer player not a boxer.
yes he really need to work on his celebration but whats not gayyyy about him is that he never hug others for like 30sec but only 2sec ..i hate it too when players hug for too long its strang to me

Inter had no italian player in the squad. They should play Copa America..

What do u call, Pazzini, Motta, Ranocchia, Faraoni, who all took part in the game? You might wanna check the line-ups before you make such comments.

Naive EPL fans are naive. And mouthy.
Sneiiiiiiiiijder!!!!!!!
nobody here is a professional soccer player or coach. none of our soccer oppinions are even credible enough to be published outside of the footytube blog. it is simply your ego that allows us to believe that our trivial critiques actually mean something. so recognize that and STOP hating on other leagues and coming up with retarded technical analysis' that "prove" that one league is better than the other or that "these are the weaknesses that you see in this league that are not in mine" ... i even feel uncomfortable writing this because it credits you self righteous buffoons.

the only thing that you can comment on is:
1) were you entertained (and to say that this game was not entertaining because it's Serie A only warrants my argument that people are blindly hating)
2) facts. who won? when? how many times

(but even these can be misleading because ITALY WON A WORLD CUP AND 2 CHAMPIONS LEAGUES SINCE 2006. THAT'S 3 MAJOR TROPHIES IN 5 YEARS) if Numbers were always telling the truth then that would lead you to believe that Serie A is the best league in the world surpassed only by Spanish football.. yet i will admit (as a Serie A fan) that this is not the case and we have some work to do.

regardless, stop your ignorant hating. enjoy the game. admit when one is entertaining. to say that this game was not entertaining is a lack of respect for the sport, not the league. but to say that Serie A is back in full effect is also wrong or players like Sanchez and Pastore wouldn't have left. to say that the EPL is the best is also inaccurate. how are they the best? sine 1985 they've only won 3 champions leagues. Serie A is 6 and La Liga is 7. And we all know that Real Madrid holds the most CL titles followed by Milan. to get even more technical, EPL made it to 6 finals since 1985. Serie A and La Liga both made it to 3 finals since then. this is not proof that EPL is best, you can say that they made it to the finals more or you can say that they lose big games more...either way it is not proof of superiority. you must even question the match ups of the knock-out rounds. As well, La Liga is great, but what about the other 18 teams? France is one of the best world class football nations in the world but we are still waiting for a competitive league 1. Bundesliga, showing a lot of progress ...

long story short. everything is up in the air. respect the game. and for all of you that have had enough of these annoying and childish opinions, don't worry. there's retards everywhere and the sport goes on.

long story short? lol
I completely agree with u though
People argue too much about league superiority, its dumb and a waste of time, most people base their opinions on nothing more than bias. Each league has something different to offer. And well if u dont like it dont watch it, it's that simple

EPL is not the best in the world. It is the greatest show on Earth, a football parade, a cultural event.

As dumb as a comment can be, you simply can't limit what a person wants to say or feels to say. That's the point of having this blog. If I feel MLS is the best, I will say it, if you don't agree, you can argue back. I give my reasons and you give yours. The discussion that goes on this footy blog is no different to every other blog discussion out there, whether its about soccer or netball, its all the same.
No one gives a retard comment either, and with that being the fact, no one gives an intellectual or a beneficial comment neither. Even your 'long story-short' is neither nor, it is just your own opinion, that someone else might as well disagree with. Just because someone said something you didn't agree with or you find offensive it doesn't make him/her a retard or a 'buffoon' in that matter. If you feel overwhelmed about some comments that are made, pass on, and read others. There are plenty of other comment made here that you may like. Give'em a thumb up and move on. A blog a freedom of speech not an intellectual board.
I agree with you BadTripRich but to base superiority upon the amount of European Cups and finals reached by clubs of a certain nation since 1985 is not a fair analysis.

For instance, during this period, the Serie A went from being the dominant league to scandal ridden, resulting in an exodus of top players to foreign clubs.

The UEFA co-efficient ranking system is an accurate way of determining the top clubs in Europe over a four year period. For example, despite having failed to win the CL, Chelsea were the best team in Europe between 2004-2008. And currently, the PL is the dominant league in Europe. But, of course things will change.

Don't think I'm hating because I am a huge fan of Italian football.
Milan are back and full of confidence to start the season. However, the problem is that the other top teams like man utd, Barca, real, chelsea are even more stronger, so I still don't expect AC milan to get too far in the champion league.
With some additions (i.e. Prince-Boateng) and Ibra hopefully coming back to form, I do believe they will make it a bit further this time in the Champions League. Clubs such as Barca, Real, Man Utd may cause some close games, but I am liking how the Rossoneri are looking right now.

Na nice game
somebody tell ibrahimovic to cut his hair (or ponytail at least). he looks like a chick, all the way
That's one ugly chick lol, i think he looked more feminine before, he looks meaner now, if i were him i'd shave the mustache though and leave the facial hair at the bottom

very rude!!
liga kampung! kasar
kalo serie A kampung, liga indonesia apa bang? udik
Some of those comments comparing the Milan derby and Manchester derby are ridiculous. Obviously a silly little boy with zero knowledge on football. Idiot. I find it very disrespectful to be honest..
+2
your gonna have to xuse those idiots. a lot of EPL fans seem to downsize Seria A, they dont realize that none of their teams won the CL in a couple of years now. to be honest Italian derbies are the best, they are very passionate, and fully of excitement.
+3
what can i say milan derby it could even be far better than elclassico i mean its been many many yrs we been fighting inter and then sone thing just come through start talking like he even knows anything...INTER is the 1 that could be compated to man uted cuz they're on same level to me but AC MILAN is way way far better and will always be better than any team in europe only real madrid could be compared to milan, barca just rises in 2006 and they will fall soon ...WHO ARE MAN city am confused they are not even club to me

YOU RIGHT THAT @SSHOLE WAS REALLY DISRESPECTFULL
+1
to be fair its mostly Man U and Chelsea fans who seem to downsize Seria A, to bad Chelsea is falling apart and Man U will eventually have to retire their beloved coach (DONT NOBODY DARE MAKE FUN OF SIR ALEX F.) the guy is a legend, he IS MAN U
ive watched plenty of both amd it seems the pace in serie a is slower, they have alot of exciting players though. italian derbies are to be sure 'emotional' more like enraging. the diving is pathetic really.
Errr... Celtic vs Rangers and West Ham vs Millwall? ^^
Seriously, El Classico is Franco and the Spanish civil war. You don't get any bigger than that.
Milan look like they are finally back
+1
For the first time since 2007 I feel confident of Milans abilities. Should be back in Europe too. Its about time really.
Don't you think it's too late? :)
Your key players are hitting 40 these days and you talk about competitive sport...
Well look who's talking about competitiveness, keep your pathetic hatred to yourself mate, because the joke's on you when you are letting it out.
:)
@Krokodilizm Key players hitting 40 these days? Of the starting 11, 8 are under the age of 30.
