Good result for Wigan considering how well West Brom have been doing

Despite the results of this match, Wigan just feel like being relegated this year. They've been hanging on by a thread these past couple of seasons, but with the performance of Newcastle, Blackpool and West Brom (outside of this match), it is looking like there will be three new teams playing Championship football next year. I'm not pulling for this to happen as I respect what Wigan is trying to do as an outfit: they are financially sound, they don't give up on Roberto Martinez and they give their players a chance to make or break the team. N'Zogbia looks really smart up front for them, and is showing the playmaking and finishing ability he sported for Newcastle in the not too long ago past. But, it will take all the luck in the world for them this year, as I think the competition at the bottom of the table will be just as tight as at the top.
