i'm glad we pulled through at times ill be honest i didnt think we would do it with the way we were in front of goal in the first, also ruiz star of the show.
The US is moving along quite well I think... 11th FIFA ranking is not to be taken lightly, I think we have a better side now than when we were ranked 8th... stats aside, we are world class, just not polished yet... we'll get there... its manner of consistency, and composure, not talent or knowledge, every game we play we gain experience and get even closer, regardless of the result... I think we are good enough to beat any team in the world... IMO.
hmmm, a match against brazil would still be tough. it's tough for any team, but there's always a possibility. i'm just glad we're ranked above mexico. i hope that doesn't change anytime soon.
wonderfrul performace from both teams... great team plays and look at the chances USA got... they should have easily scored like 5 goals in the match... they need to improve their finishings... Altidore was amazing in the game... great attack plays and did a good job holding the ball in necessary times... but all the players looked weak in the finishing... if they improved that part i believe they will have a great team for the worldcup... definitely a young team and they have quality... All the best....
USA looks like a good fast growing team but they need more composure because the finishing should have really bin better and they should have bin able to hold off Brazil in the confederations cup even though Brazil is much better and i just expect USA to get better in till they are a really competitive team

well, maybe if we had capello we'd stand a better chance. realistically, we know we aren't headed to the final. we're just trying to make it further than we have before and earn respect. progress. ya know? :)

Yeah like alot of you guys said, US should have won the game but it was not to be so. I think the US is going to be a team that could upset a few countries in World Cup South Africa as they always come up with a shock result. Another team that could upset a few big countries is Australia too with Tim Cahill in their team
