Damn Gomes, you're really scared of ronaldo.
Where was Bale on this match i sorry he did not done nothing at all. Tipical british thing over rating there own players. Any way Spurs down well to go this far tho. Defoe in the bench not a good move to me.
Typical British know how to spell "Typical".:P

Please don't think all british people are like that, it's only the stupid english media that targets the working class in england always over hyping things about english football. When they fail, they blame the players who aren't living up to their expectations.

Bale didn't do 'nothing'. He had some good plays and a disallowed goal. He was one of the few that were a threat to Madrid.
Butter finger Gomez... But Bale is a beast...

Good win for Real. After all everybody knew they would go... but yet Spurs was the better team for most of the game. Maybe they werent lucky enough to score or even to get a penalty.

So good to see Madrid go through to semi's after a long time too... And most importantly, playing against Barca would be another strong match ahead in the champions league

Fans were great, really proud of the team for getting this far.

Going to be really tough getting there next year with tough fixtures but let's see. Overall this game was close, the tie was already lost after the first leg in all honesty. As for all this penalty debate. Fans will always shout for a penalty whenever their players falls over in the box. Whether the player got the ball each time or not if you look at the reaction of the spurs players they just get on with it, it's not like they all run up to the ref demanding a penalty.

Shame we couldn't even score against Real tbh but they are in another class. As for Gomes, what can you say... He's always been prone to a good howler.

PS: Real, please don't bid for Bale in the summer, thanks.

Exactly... U guys did a fantastic job in this champions league run...

...gomes should have learnt from other keeper. when ronaldo shut the ball that way, curving downwards, you punch rather than try to catch.
+1
no you catch it but actually catch the ball. he should know better to make sure to get your fingers above the ball. it was a mistake, but gk should catch more than punch especially from that shot.
Good effort by Tottenham, they really played well but Gomes' performance was disappointing to say the least. I think they will comeback stronger next year
i dont understand all this bullshit criticism, Tottenham played well i think against Real.. and whoever says Tottenham played s**t because of Gomez' error is just ignorant... Real are a great team, and i think Tottenham played some great attacking football.. its a shame we are out.. but to get this far is a GREAT acheivement.. we are a growing team.. with so much potential. Hope we make CL next year
I think it was partly because of the attitude of some of Spurs players that help light the fuel to that fire.
Sorry just wanted to correct my statement the second penalty claim was contact made on his shin..interpreted by the referee as a non call..which technically could be a penalty because contact was made..the last one was where the striker dragged his back leg and made contact after anticipating the challenge....either way better luck next year
K guys lets be real the commentators at the end of the day don;t always see what a soccer player knows if you have played the game at high level and what is obvious on the slow mo replay..the first play there was no contact before he goes down only as he was falling is contact made..and on the second the defender got his foot in between the strikers legs with no contact the striker then dragging is back foot resulting in contact..these are tricks that players at high levels learn to anticipate...and remember guys these are British Commentators
Imagine the referee gave 3 very light penalties :D

That would be funny!
